I just got done changing the brake pads watching your vid! I had been asking for a chain tightening video for a while but thank you for sending me the link for another video! I see why you weren’t in a rush to post that video. It seems like a pain in the ass! I might just take that to the shop for that part. And thanks for uploading this video! Thank you very much for the videos! Gotta say though that this is not an easy tire changing experience. Changed the inner tube reusing the stock outer tire, which is an extremely tight fit on the rim. Was a pain to break the bead on one side to get the tube out and even more diffcult getting the tite back on.. Definitely recommend using a large metal screwdriver to pry the tire both off and on, broke 4 of the smaller tire tools.

Further on the brakes. If you look at 7.23 where you hold the calliper in your hand, turn it over and you will see a big silver coloured hex key plate, that adjusts the rear pad, there is a grub screw that holds that plate locked. By adjusting that back plate, you can align the pads so when you pull the brakes the disk does not bend or flex so the disk runs true. Also if you remove that plate you will find some ball bearings inside these need to be greased up from time to time I use Vaseline for this rather than normal grease, if you do not pay attention to servicing this part your brakes could fail catastrophically and completely. Basically that plate aligns your pads to the disk so the disk can run true when braking, you get full braking power no warping of the disk. I mention this as it's a serious potential fail that could end badly if not looked at, it's not just on these bikes but all disk brake bikes that have cable brakes that use this system. They are great brakes but they just need to be checked.

Shiva, Really like your vids. I have the original, new tire and tube that came with the bike when the rear wheel suddenly went flat. I have changed many a bike tire & tube in my life but this tire is so tight around the wheel that I couldn't get it off even with large tire irons. It appears others have commented about this. Any ideas to help make removal easier? I really rather not cut the tire off.

Where was this video two months ago !? 🤣 Nice and very necessary video 👍🏻 Someone threw down a bunch of black tack nails on the bike path we ride. We were on the receiving end of two flats, and had friends/neighbors who had multiple flats until my wife and I borrowed a couple of magnet rollers. Pretty messed up that some people can be so nefarious. We picked up hundreds of those tacks in the area where people were receiving punctures.

@@ShivaSapkota the good news is- it hasn’t happened again... yet. I personally installed the green “slime” into my tires. Not yet sure what to think of that product because I haven’t had any punctures since using it. However, I’d recommend spinning your wheel very well before adding or subtracting air, because the slime likes to congregate on the valve mechanism therefore seeping air out until a person extracts the valve and physically cleans off the slime around the rubber o-ring on the spring-ed valve.

Every Folding electric bike that are this type are the worst. These are actually better then the folding cargo ebikes, stay away from those. They are put together in a way that makes any type of repairs a real pain and you will usually need to take to a shop for most repairs. If the bike had folding handlebar stem DO NOT BUY THE STEM ALWAYS BECOMES WOBBLY AND THERE IS NO FIX APART FROM REPLACING THE ENITIRE FRONT END AND THEN YOU JUST WAITING FOR IT TO HAPPEN AGAIN... ALSO THE REAR WHEEL MOTOR YOU WANT EVEN DISCONNECT THE WIRE, IT HAS NO CONNECTOR! as I said they are made that repairs will always be difficult. If you buy this type of ebike you will most definitely regret it

Great vids on all your Jetson Bolt updates and mods. Can you (or someone) answer brief question for me? I have 4 Bolt Pro ebikes and need about double the battery capacity on each of them. I need to keep the upgrade internal on the bike, and I'll be using same controller since I want more distance, not more speed. BEFORE I go buy 4 batteries and try to shoe-horn them into each bike, can you please provide the largest battery dimensions that can be accommodated INSIDE the case of a Bolt Pro - assuming I leave the controller in place, but also assuming I won't mind cutting out a bit of plastic and/or removing some padding and/or even cutting out a screw-post or two. What are those max dimensions of a battery I can buy and fit in them? Can I make a 12Ah fit, and which one? Is 10Ah the largest possible to fit internally? Or worse, only 8Ah? Please help with max possible dimensions and largest capacity battery you (or anyone) know(s) of that will definitely fit inside the case.

Wow I literally was calling 10 shops today foe tires and this video pops up! Thanks for the vid and just a quick question, why is the tire in the vid and the amazon link different? Did it come like that ? Where do you get it ? Thanks so much

Yeah the product picture looks different than what they shipped me. I purchased the Calpalmy tires. I don't know how long they will last but I hope they are good quality:) Please reach out if you need any help during installation. Thanks for watching my videos.

Shiva, could you recommend a link to buying correct tubes from either Amazon or Ebay that have 90 degree bent valves for easy inflation🙂

I haven't found ones that would go with this bike yet. I personally like the air tires over solid tires because of lack of suspension in this ebike but hopefully I can find solid tires so I can put a link here. Thank you.

Just ordered new tires for a Jetson Bolt Pro that was given to me by a friend. I've never worked on a bike in my entire life, so I'm hoping this helps :)) I'll post an update on when I get the tires.
