i must have checked the same dang cable over 10 times, then it dawned on me, maybe, just maybe 1 isnt perfectly connected. Wouldnt you know, the biggest one, i guess the main cable, was just slightly off,. If anyone is watching and reads this, if its not working, keep trying. could be your problem too lol. nice video.

what if my odometer isnt reading. am oi able to replace it???

I guess it depends on if your ebike company is still around and if they sell or warranty their displays. I have replaced many panels. In fact I just uploaded a video on a 3rd party display that elevates any ebike.

A heavy bike you got that rt lol. So I followed your video to the tee.full charge on battery removed made sure it was seated in bike frame.went through every wire made sure they were all tight.they were. Still sceen on LCD won't turn on. Bike is a Lectric brand 3.0

Would like to see you try to figure out mine followed the cord it goes all the way to the controller under the seat no connector along the way how you supposed to figure that out

What kind of ebike? Most ebikes have a disconnect. I would be surprised if yours didn't if made after 2020

My screen does work but I can barely see it because it is not bright do you maybe noe why?

There is a brightness setting. Look in your manual and find out which setting. Usually 1-3 in brightness. If you have to, take it into the garage without light hitting it to see it better while working in settings

If all wires are connected and still no display. Would the controller be the next step?

Usually it's the wires that either disconnected or are frayed. Very rare that the actual controller would go bad. We have a rental that stopped working once and it was a pinched cord. So I would definitely trace the cord, unplug for a while and plug it back in. You could also reach out to the manufacturer for tips

My panel is working, it's nice and bright right when I turn it on but as soon as I start riding it dims down and I can't see shit! Yes I turned it up all the way ( I think lol ) any suggestions?

That's because your battery is getting used by the motor and can't handle it. What is the Voltage of your ebike? Is it at least 48V? If so you can turn on your headlights and sometimes that brightens it. If you don't have a headlight, upgrade the bike :)

How comfortable is that seat.

So, my bike had a broken lamp. The Lamp was connected to the board computer, I switched the lamp with a mobile solution. I cut off the wire of the lamp, to remove it from the bike. Now the display doesnt turn on, it loses power. Could it be that I messed up a power circuit? Or did I mess up entirely? Usually these panels arent connected to the lamp, I ordered a new one that isnt connected to the panel either. Hopefully that works. Anyway, thanks for the video!

Yeah, most new ebikes are actually controlled by the panel. That's how you turn it off and on. The older ebikes are controlled by a separate button. You can take it to a bike shop, they should be able to help. I'm sure your panel is ok. Just have to connect it properly.

My ebike is the same shape as yours, an ADO 20+. The battery works, the screen start but I can only make it run for 1 minute until it completely shuts off. I have no idea why.

@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY To be honest I don't know which shuts off. I have no way to check. I try to take off the key and put it back, but it doesn't work. I have to wait for a few hours to retry. And then same thing. I don't know what is going on.

It really depends on how much your brand charges for a new panel. It might be under warranty. I would definitely contact them regardless

Hey, have this problem with an IMGADGETS gyrocopter zeil bike it has the same wiring as that one but I hit a bump and it fully shut off, idk what to do because it’s doing this but this didn’t work..

Some ebikes its screwed behind the battery compartment and some it's behind the pedal cover, You will have to remove it to see. Will take some work. Or spend $30 and take it to a bike shop

I seem to have a issue when I turn the key on the screen powered on for 3 seconds then powered off I think it's a key problem because when I wiggle the key it comes on but doesn't stay on any tips what I need to do

My scooter display randomly just stopped turning on. The battery is fine the battery voltage is coming through perfectly in the displays wires but its just not coming on. Weirdly enough if i hold the power button and accelerator at the same time the wheel spins

I would definitely reach out to the brand. I've only heard about that happening twice. Once when it was left in the sun directly for a long period, and the other when a pin was bent inside the plug.

I was riding my bike then all of the sudden the throtle started making a choked noice, then error 30 appeared on screen then it shutted down and was never able to reatart it again. I have checked aaaaall cablea from outside and inside. Any tip!?

I have a Amyet s8 that I’ve had for A week an a half an I noticed the lcd screen shows low battery even though my bike is fully charged can you suggest anything

Did you change any battery setting on the panel? Sometimes if you change from 48V to 52V is will show off on the screen.

Yeah, so your manual should say the settings your bike should be at. Messing around with the battery voltage can give you a little boost on torque, but will show low battery. I would find out which setting you messed with. Ideally you should only change two settings. The top speed (P08) and the tire size (varies by bike). Sorry that happened. It will still work, but you just won't have an accurate battery life indicator and in some cases less battery life.

That can happen if it gets hot. It's a manufacturer defect. You can call the manufacturer or the dealer you purchased it from to replace the panel

I turned my off on pedal assist 4 and when I turned it back on in a few days and it was on pedal assist 4 blinking and no matter what I pressed nothing changed the blinking and the electric bike at this point was useless. Does anyone know how to fix it or if I buy another e-bike meter if that would fix the problem

You can contact Gotrax. We've worked with them on many occasions. Their ebikes are budget cheap ebikes, but their service is good. This bike should have been $399

I think Kohls upcharged it my friend. Walmart.com for $400. I would take it back to Kohls

My screen wont display anything but it still turns on and i can adjust the speed. Ive only done 50 miles on it.

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in? One of the prongs is for video display, the other prongs are for controlling the motor/ headlights etc. Perhaps one of the prongs got bent or just loose.

Does it completely turn off, or just dim really low? Have you tried turning off or unplugging the front light? It might be taking too much power from the display light.

Then the panel needs replacing which is equally as simple. Reach out to the manufacturer of your ebike. it's plug and play. This video is just a way to help those without going through the hassle and wait times. Hopefully you got something out of it.

my speed kmph is not working, i have a hub motor, and paddel pad with 12 magnets. i got the nc81f display, i dont understand wy it is not working at all :(

What model display? Did you use a voltage meter to see if it's getting power? Those panels if left in the sun, could short out
