@@pzavis25 It depends on how many watts are you going to use, how far and how fast you want to ride. I started with a 10ah and it was fine, but now I'm going to have a 15ah and a 20ah battery on the bike. I want to go at least 40miles.

You have such a big battery, my 52volt is smaller. Nice speeds!

I bought a 1000w 48v kit many years ago. I only modified the controller. Now you can get 2000w 52v

@obliviondio Ok, if you already have the batteries just get a 48v kit. 2000w if you want speed. Search KZread on how to modify the controller. It only involves soldering.

How much did the kit and the battery cost?

I bought that kit over 2 years ago. I think it was $300. The battery was purchased this year for $275.

What about power consumption? W*h/km?

It wasn't great distance. At 28 kmh; Pedal assist: 30-40km Throttle: 20-24km
