Finally! When looking between the two I found it quite challenging to find a simple comparison. Props!

I was considering these two. Thanks for giving the quick overview. Holsters I use for the Fanny Pack style are the Alien Gear Cloak Hook & Loop. It sticks to the inside bag securely. Enjoy!

Just bought the standard and already looking for something a touch bigger. One thing I wish they did was install double zippers on all openings so you can position your ccw zippers to one side and the other compartments to the other side!!!

Great comparison- I bought one last year. My G19 fits in it snugly. I’m debating getting a G26 because my G19 prints to much for me. It’s hot in Texas

I went to the 48 because my 19 was annoying to carry IWB in central Florida where it’s also hot.

Were you bought the Velcro holsters ?

QVO tactical has a Velcro mounting kydex .

Hello! advise which bag to choose, standard or hl? I have a gun Fort 17r (Ukraine) 180x132x34 mm

I have the Glock 48 with RMRCC and a tlr 7 sub do you think with the added light that it will fit inside the original bando?

Yeah, it will be tight but will fit. I have the same glock and light. Just running a different red dot. Mine is probably a little bigger even.

How are you liking the Xl, does it feel a whole lot bigger on the body than the regular version? I've been running the regular version for about a week, but I've been pretty unhappy with the cargo capacity of the main pocket, I just needed something a little bit larger so I ordered the Xl.

I prefer the size and shape of the original. Although the additional capacity would be nice. I’m reviewing the vertx long walk pack today on my channel. At first glance I think it will be a good In between.

I am debating on which one to get I want the smaller one however not sure if my sig 365 macro with red dot will fit in the small one

The XL looks massive holy shit, I got a normal bando last year and was unhappy with how tight my edc fit so I opted for an XL now I am worried its way to big. How tall are you I am 5'9" Also look into 945 industries velcro backed kydex holster

About the same height. Yeah, I elected to stick with the standard size even though it’s maxed out.

@@fathernomad I changed a few of the med items I was running to save a little space and ive now got the standard loaded out perfectly. I do prefer the standard size over the XL but I am running a sub compact EDC firearm. If I had any bigger a CC, I would upsize to the XL.

Personally, if I’m carrying one of these I’m trying to minimize my equipment for print. Check out my video on the viktos sling bag for a larger bag with molle options.

Will a G26 with a Aimpoint ARCO P-2 fit in the original bag?

Not 100% on what the 26 footprint is compared to a 19, but if it’s a sub, it will likely fit tightly.

I think carrying off body with a longer draw time, especially with it in a holster, running the gun hot is mando. After being in a self defense shooting it is paramount to being ahead of the curve, especially under that much stress there is zero room for error IMO.

I personally carry hot, so long as the gun is contained by a quality holster designed to guard the trigger, but I also have a decade of high level training. I don’t recommend random people do things that are potentially dangerous unless they have the proper training and equipment. For the experienced shooter with the proper equipment, I agree with you 100%.

Viktos hookie holster added to an legit iwb kydex holster would work best.

Gotta say brody I like your content, simple man like me wanna enjoy your shorts but still be ready, I iwb in shorts but the weight on the waist band is annoying and even though its tight I am still constantly pulling my pants up, Im tempted to get the XL just so carrying a spare mag and pocket IFAK is a bit easier but it looks fucking massive lol

Only thing I get your reasoning but some what disagree with is not carrying hot, but I like that you are training for that and not just doing it you have a plan in place and that works for you which is wonderful I just personally want to shave off any fraction of time getting into the fight that I can since the bag already makes it a bit different then IWB

I do, but I never recommend it to others considering I don’t know their training level and never wanna feel responsible for an armature AD because they saw me carrying hot in a Fanny pack on KZread. I only recommend people carry hot arms in quality holsters.

If I’m going anywhere I feel incline to cary extra ammo, I usually just carry my larger viktos sling bag. I’ve got a review of that loadout here on KZread as well.

It’s a Viktos, not sure if they sell it separately but it came in the upscale sling bag.

I receive my today in the mail . I like the bag a lot more than the vertex socp. But I was let down completely because the belt is not that long . Doest not work as a sling bag . Wish belt be longer . Unfortunately can not use it . Wish they could create a solution because really love this bag .

For like a couple dollars you can get hassle free return protection. Which is what I did, ordering both sides and returning the one I didn’t want to edc.

How much extra space would there be in both bags if your used a 380?

No idea. I never really new that there was different kinds of the same cal. I new different manufacturers. I'm not that knowledgeable about guns. My ex-husband inherited a bunch of guns. He hated it so i took it as my personal one. I never really carried much. But the way the world is getting i feel like I need to start getting serious.

I have a Viktos slingbag too, review is here on KZread. If I’m wearing this one it’s like this. I like the Viktos better as a sling.

My main problem with this carry method is the actual holster. If you can get a kydex rig in there then great but I just don’t trust the fabric Velcro to keep the gun from going off. I know it’s unlikely but it’s still below my safety threshold.

I’ve got a video on my channel of the viktos sling bag and it’s big enough to receive my kydex CC holster and it’s my preferred edc bag for most occasions. Pretty much running this for the gym or beach. That being said I’m sure there are some good kydex trigger guards that would work well in here, I just don’t have one yet.

I prefer the standard, the xl for me is entirely too big for an EDC pack.
