My favourite film,how awesome is that gavestone , fantastic ❤

My family is coming up on our first Christmas since mom passed away and that was her favorite Christmas movie... That is very neat to see where that was filmed!

I am sorry about your Mum. We just went through our first Christmas without my husband last year. My son took it hard. Everyone is different, grieve in your own way, and don't ever let anyone tell you, "to just get over it", "it is time to move on", or set time limits on you. Grief doesn't go away. You learn to carry it with you. Much love and hugs for the future.

well, you are half right! the filiming company noted an old gravestone in the kirk, and the writing was unreadable. they asked permission to put "Ebenezer Scrooge" on it and permission was granted. I guess records didn't exist of whose grave it was. but it's a real grave.

It is so great that the sexton of the church agreed to leave that tombstone there. It is better than having to ask him where was it placed, each time someone hears it was filmed there. Thank you for the clip!

No idea what you are talking about because that tombstone is a real tombstone that was already there and it was already a grave with no name on. they let them carve the name in which is really disrespectful. It wasn't put there by the film crew.

I know the movie you are talking about with the gravestones of made up individuals for 1984 scrooge movie! That was a great AWESOME movie! I remember seeing this movie when I was 12 years old on TV. This video brings back those childhood memories. Thank you for sharing this and I remember seeing this gravestone in the scrooge movie as well!
