Just put Yellow Stuff on my Audi RS4 avant and what an upgrade on the OE pads. Initial bite isn't quite as strong, but press the pedal hard and wow do they have some power! They also handle heat far better, with virtually no fade compared to OE pads which had my bottom squeaking a few times when they got really hot.

I have the bsd on my charger and they have been amazing

I realized how important brakes were when I was towing a camper down a steep windy mountain road. I came into a sharp unexpected corner and oh sh… I’m not stopping! Then it hit me. I think it need new brakes. That’s a scary feeling when your not stopping. You never realize how important they are till your about to nail something.

This is valid! It's a very similar (and absolutely puckering) experience when you get brake fade on track and suddenly have no brakes going 100mph into a corner...

Yeah I need your help, you explained the brake pads good but wich rotor should i buy? they all priced closed to each other.

Hey where do you guys ship from ? Trying to pick up some front ebc rotors Just don’t want to wait 3 months to get them like every place right now during the pandemic. Recently did some upgrades on my 10th gen and I need better stopping power ASAP

What do you guys think about dailying in the summer with gd rotors and blue stuff pads? Definitely some spirited driving once in a while

I placed the grooved dimpled disks in the middle and the yellow stuff, there is a hissing sound while driving and it pisses me off, it gets more frequent when braking.

According to ebc is goes black, red, green 2000, yellow

Very Nice video, been a EBC fan for several years now and the greenstuf was my choise for dayly and some Trackdays from time to time having Fun . Even with these Trackdays included they last me arround 26 000 miles . But if i can ask ? Where are the Blue and orange stuff brakepads? Or don't u get them in the usa?

The Blue and Orange pads are only made for certain applications. They typically don't make them for this type of car. They're pretty aggressive and most people would never buy them. They make them for popular track cars, mostly.

How come on the site rotors are only available for rear for the civic sport models? It even had this on other sites as if EBC only makes the rears

does EBC have any 1 piece toters for 2022 Ram 1500 that fit wilwood calipers？ thx

My EBC BSD were not coated with black at all. But there's a yellow sticker on the box that says Gen 3. So is the style your representing in this video an older version?

I bought new rotors back in August 2023. Gen 3 rotors are newer than these and have a silver coating instead of black. The coating works in basically the same way.

Went to the website but there is only for the mazda, st and wrx. Is it an website error that there are no pads or rotors for the 10th gen?

Thanks for the video for canyon driving would you recommend then slotted or dimple slotted the dimpled is 10 dollars more should I go for slotted or just spend the extra 10 bucks

So does anyone have pics of these rotors atfer some mileage? Do they stay black or do they start too look weird? sorry if he says something in the video about this. Im needing new rotors and brakes but i love the look of these but i wonder if they look bad after awhile. If anyone can chime in on this i would appreciate it.

They will wear to bare metal/silver where the pads make contact, but look very good, and resist rust everywhere else where still black!

Do the rotors come with any additional rust prevention coating like traditional rotors? Do you need to use brake cleaner before installing them? If so I would think it will eat away at the factory coating. Just curious ...thanks in advance.

Are they any good off road? Will sand or mud damage them?

I was under the impression that green stuff 2000 was a higher quality and sportier than red stuff

I have the most expensive set up on the ebc rotor and yellow pads with vented rotor . Im having a grinding feel and sound at slower speeds around town driving . The set up is only a week old and it just started . Kinda upset hope it gos away.

The EBC yellows are a pretty aggressive ceramic track pad that can be used on the street, they will likely be a little noisy at lower speeds. Also, the bed-in period is up to 100 miles, so they may get more quiet after that.

Absolutely disagree with you about the red pads. I’m on my second set and can report the initial bite is excellent. While they are affected by cold temperatures, they have very, very good initial bite in all “normal” temperatures. It’s one of the things I like most about them.

Those look identical to OEM rotors with some black zinc and slots/holes. No improvement in the cooling vane design, no improvement in the hat design. If they are actually taking OEM rotors and treating them, these are not going to give you any real benefit outside of "looking cool".

They are not taking OEM rotors and treating them. EBC isn't doing anything new with these or claiming they are something that they aren't. They make stock replacement brake discs and pads for many automotive applications just like StopTech, Brembo, Hawk, etc. They're a well known, longstanding brake company. When you need new pads and/or rotors, which everyone will at some point, this is one of the choices available to you.
