Didn't know the old location burned down. Excellent food. Their cuisine is more Northern style. Love it.
Eating & enjoying vegetables! You never cease to amaze me Danny. When I was working in Toronto I use to frequent a restaurant in Chinatown that had the same laminated menu. Their food was superb as well.

Hi Danny, It's FRIDAY and another DTM Las Vegas video !!! Tung got you hooked on the stir fried braised green beans. I like them too ! That China Mama in the Shanghai Plaza Mall is quite busy and popular. Long Waiting list on weekends. That Xiao Long Bao non-compete ban is interesting. So only one place in that Plaza can offer it ? which one ? ha ha
China MaMa, welcome Told and Pam 👋. Delicious vegatables (stir fried), Walnut Spring, fish with Black Bean sauce (love fresh prepared fish), tin cup for water? Hot tea🫖. Every dish looked great! Excellent food and great company!!!🐼👍

That was one good looking meal. The green beans are a family favorite. My guess is that they use a cheap fish like swai for the black bean fish. A better fish would put that dish into another price category.

Wow! Green beans?!? DtM is eating his vegetables! You had veggies in your prime rib video, too. Not going soft on us, are you? Hahaha. Glad you had a wonderful meal. Gotta try this place out. Too bad about the soup dumplings. Shouldn't that be against the law...preventing someone from selling something that others can sell?
Fish probably is called swai fish! Mild white fish! Its a delicious fish! It goes well with green beans!

I'm trying to remember, I'm pretty sure you tried the beef chow fun at China Mama right Danny? I'll have to search the videos and see. Like Tung, a friend of mine used to go to the old location when she visited Vegas every year and pretty much loved every single dish she ever ordered there. And to be fair, their prices aren't that bad considering the premium rent they probably pay and the location. That being said, Danny eating vegetables means China Mama must use some sort of VR/holographic tech from the Mission Impossible movies to make you think you like the vegetables and then when it's all gone the facade falls away and you realize your shame in eating green beans. Them holographic fried green beans did look good though. And that walnut shrimp, that might be the first version I've seen (at least in DTM videos anyway) that isn't covered in that oddly gross looking white sauce it usually has. Looked pretty good to be honest and I hate fish/seafood!
