Thank you, thank you, my grandfather came to the United States from the Ukraine, in the early 1900’s. My grandmother is from Poland, they met here and married. My grandmother was a great cook, old country cooking. She made blood sausage from scratch, we called it Kishka, used buckwheat for the filling. Also, made kasha from buckwheat, put it in a bowl and poured some of the best tasting chicken broth over it, with an added boiled chicken foot from the stock pot, with lots of salt sprinkled on the chicken foot, yummy. Made the best Pierogi, from potato and cheese, cabbage, (Kapusta), meat, blue berries in the summer. I could go on and on. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of family dinners, cooked by my grandmother. We never left the table hungry. So, with your girlfriend speaking Ukrainian, it gave me chills, it’s like music to my ears. Thank you.

Aww. This popped up in my recommended even tho I already watched it with my husband on his YT account. It made me sad to remember how happy and carefree you guys were back then such a short time ago. This Pavlo and Luba did not know what was coming yet. I hope you guys are ok and I hope your families are safe. Last night I wrote to several politicians in my country to urge them to support a no fly zone. There is so little I can do to help. Tonight I will pray to The Morrighan. She the fiercest Celtic Goddess of War, Sovereignty, Protection and Retribution. She is a guardian of land and people and she mourns every fallen warrior. Her symbol is the Raven. Do you have ravens there? Maybe you will see one and feel her strength with you. Glory to Ukraine. 💛💙🌻🇺🇦

I design homes for the Ukrainian and Moldavian communities when they come to the US in my area, started doing that about 30 years ago, doing another one now....I'm a big, big fan of the 7 layer cake they make. Awesome stuff.

Your videos are so nice, I love it a lot. It do my remember all the visits I had to the Ukraine. I love the Russian and Ukraine food, it is so nice to buy the ready made dishes at the supermarket and special shops in the evening. But I like most to buy the dishes at the market. For a part, I live is my house in Spain, here there are several UKrainian restaurants and food stores. In the south of Sweden where I have my other house, there are no Russian / Ukrainian shops. When I come to Spain, the first thing is to eat Borsch soup. I wish you and your lovely partner all the best, Greetings, Martin.

Hello Pavlo, Thank you for your message. The Russian/Ukranian food was not expensive, but that restaurant/bar (Marussia) in Benidorm closed, it was run by 3 girls. One of them moved back to the Ukrane. And an other Russian restaurant in Torrevieja also closed. Due to the Covid many restaurants close. Now are there several other Russian restaurants and one Russian/Georgian restaurant but they are more upscale. My house is in the mountains ( Castalla), 1 hour drive from those restaurants. I hope soon to go back to Sweden and than will I try the Russian restaurant in Copenhagen (my city), also 1 hour drive from my house in Sweden. My plan is to sell my house in Spain, some of my cars and motorbikes, buy a big camper-bus. I want to travel with my cats. I also want to visit Ukrain and Russia again When you have questions, you can ask me everything. Best wishes to you and the people around you.
