The dish that u didn't like....in my language is called nam kow. One of my favorite dishes of Lao/Thai cuisine. It's meant to be savory with a hint of salty and tart. They fry up the rice ball and then break it up adding ingredients like fresh herbs, lime juice, fish sauce and Nam aka. Fermented pork sausage. (One of our staples). U wrap it up in the lettuce like lettuce wrap and add a whole fried chili in the wrap. This is one of the many lettuce wrap dishes Lao/Thai cuisine has. Most of the time when they give u a bunch of lettuce and herbs, the meal is meant to be eaten as a lettuce wrap. FYI😉

@9mins....I'm not Thai but i love it. It's not that it's stale, it was probably deep fried earlier and just soften up. It's usually eaten crispy. You gotta wrap with the lettuce

I'm actually headed there tomorrow to pick up some things for my aquarium. Too touristy for me in that area for food and shopping. I like the Red Building Vintage Chatuchak (ตึกแดงวินเทจ จตุจักร) across the street for shopping and adult beverages. Prices can be cheaper there also compared to the market where the tourists are.

Every video of yours I watch of you in Thailand makes me want to go to Thailand and channel my inner Pac-Man and eat all the things in sight! Though I've heard stories of how many street vendors cheat foreigners who can't read Thai by having signs that have lower prices on their products for locals only, how true is this?

I have to say this. It has nothing to do with this video but I have been binging and it is really annoying. Could you maybe, pretty please, stop saying Kay and then Gee. Could you maybe please call it a kilogram. It's not that complicated. I get it that you are American, but even Americans are aware of the metric system and the measurements that they use. I have literally never heard anyone call a kg a Kay gee😂. Even people who speak no English can say kilogram because it's that universal.
