Notably, the area is closed on Mondays, and weekends see an overwhelming influx of visitors. It’s truly a street food heaven, where even exotic fare like scorpion can surprisingly taste like chicken. 😂
One could easily lose track of time exploring the labyrinthine backstreets here.

Bangkok’s Chinatown is one of the largest in the world. Founded in 1782 when Bangkok became the capital of the Rattanakosin Kingdom, it served as the home of the mainly Teochew immigrant Chinese population, who soon became the city’s dominant ethnic group.

Hello, you won’t believe this she’s 4 mins away from my hotel! She’s closed today and tomorrow. The big adventure starts tomorrow. I Will pop back to Bangkok on the way north. I should see her then! Cheers mate
