Eating ONLY VENDING MACHINE FOOD & CREEPY Vending Machines in Tokyo Japan

Japan is famous for having amazing number of vending machines! You can find these vending machines scattered across the cities and in the countryside as well as in shrines...basically everywhere you go! So I decided to try out some of these vending machines.

    The reason the beetle toys had smalls rocks wrapped in newspaper is because the vending machines work off a weight sensor on the tray so the machine can tell if it has dispensed the item or if it has stuck somewhere or not dropped.

    American Cup Noodles is actually very different from Japanese Cup Noodle. Even the name is different. American Cup Noodles has an S at the end. It all comes down to cultural differences. American Cup Noodle(S) are meant to be eaten quickly with a fork while the Japanese Cup Noodle is mean to be savored with chopsticks and slurped. It comes down to the target audience even if they were both made by the same company.

  • @KaotikBOOO

    Not really sure about that, cup noodles aren't really considered anything other than a cheap and fast meal here in Japan Talking about Nissin cup noodle, you got instant noodles that are actually a real meal I'd say it's more because there's way more choice regarding instant noodles than abroad and it's usually cheaper than their American counterparts They need to be on par taste wise or they'll just end up crushed by the concurrents

    I loved the vending machines over there when I visited.. So much variety and allot of the food is good. I remember I had a Hank Hill moment when I went to see my friend in Misawa coming from Tokyo. I was waiting for a train by myself in the middle of nowhere in the countryside, and thought it would be a great time to have a beer as it was summertime. The station I was at was just a platform, a bench, and two vending machines. One of the machines was for soda and the other one was a beer vending machine. Got me a tall boy of Asahi Super Dry that was ice cold.

    would it be legal to create a vending machine titled 'try monk ice' but each time it gets money put in the vending machine it just takes the money and on the side of the machine you have a small plaque stating that this is an anagram machine and that the name of the machine is an anagram for the words 'money trick' and the purpose of the vending machine is to make the money disappear like its a magic trick.....

  • @Red4350

    @Red4350

    @@Vi-iX idk probably alot of legal stuff...imo the only way it can work is like instead of a plaque you have to be a warning or a disclaimer and it would have to be very visible like on the front in big letters...otherwise people can say that they didnt know that it was a trick machine...i mean to be fair...its not even a magic trick...its a literal trick...idk why you would even want to do that to people...the only way people would actually give you their money is if you had a screen on the machine and it played some very cool video or something entertaining so that even if it did take their money that still got something in return ...

    For middle aged Japanese like me, vending machine foods are remainder of our childhood, which making them a kind of special thing even though we can find much better food all around us. Because vending machine food wasn't common thing around our house buck then, but something we can find when we go out with parents and brothers and sisters to have fun. So more likely I think we are enjoying the good memories attached to the mussy fries when we eat them as a grown up. 😅
