That's a fancy Bún Chả presentation, and it looks delicious! 😋 I believe that's a bowl of Nước Chấm or Nước Mắm dipping sauce, not broth. WOW what a feast! It's still a bargain! Amazing! The drink looks refreshing! Was the broth spicy? Vietnamese grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves, I tried the same at a Vietnamese Restaurant in Toronto. Looks delicious! 😋

The black sausage is Bò Lá Lốt (grilled beef wrapped in betel leaf) they added in to elevate the plate, Bún Chả never have this. Bò Lá Lốt is its own dish, you can order this in vermicelli noodles, or rice paper wrapping. Along with Bò Lá Lốt is Bò Mỡ Chài (grilled beef wrapped in a thin sheath of pork fat), individual or both, they always go together. The shape of vermicelli noodles on your plate is call "Bánh Hỏi" litterally Asking-Cake, it's just a fancy version of vermicelli noodles that people use for special occasions, especially weddings, when they wrap barbeque pork inside Bánh Hỏi, to avoid loosely vermicelli noodles ....I guess. You elevated this building to a cruise ship, yet Hanoians called this Tòa nhà Hàm Cá Mập (Shark jaw building). When it was first came out the media and general public detested this structure. they said the building destroyed Hoan Kiem lake.

That's a lot of food. I doubt the $2.00 meals give you as much food, do they? You never said if the quality was better or not, if you did, I didn't hear it. I did find one thing strange, that table that was tight against your table. It even had a plate on it. It seems to me if you are paying a premium price you shouldn't have to dine with a stranger breathing down your neck, unless you were dining with guests. Also, your camera was off the table. It must have been sitting on the table in front of you? lol
