Awesome! Please let me know what types of videos you would like to see more of. Christmas and Spring are always the times I suggest are best to visit London. However, if you don’t like cold weather- you may want to stick to Spring. Just remember though- air conditioning is rare here 😱

@@Sunny_in_London Will do! Thanks for the advice! We can probably handle colder weather (we moved to FL from Washington State). We'll just have to buy some new clothes before our trip!

Lots of very good points. I've sadly seen many restaurants around me (the Seattle area) closing not due to lack of patronage, but because of supply shortages. Our favorite Hawaiian burger place just closed it's last mainland restaurant in my hometown for this very reason. (I'll have to visit Hawaii for a Teddy's burger now . . . I guess there's good and bad to that! 😉🤣). Menus have definitely changed. What an interesting time . . .

Hello Anna. Thank you for adding a comment about the Seattle area. That’s such a shame that you’re seeing restaurants close. As I mention in the video- London’s restaurants had 3 closures due to the pandemic. Did Washington have many too? I can only speak to Florida because that’s where most of my family is and I think they only closed for a few months once.

@@Sunny_in_London things were closed for about six weeks then open only for take out for about six months. Then things opened at half capacity, but most people still did take out. The businesses that got creative and did take out well (maybe offering pre-made cocktail options, too) did well, but so many restaurants ended up going under permanently, as did many other small businesses. Most everything is back to "normal" now, but starting in mid-October, you'll have to show your vaccine card or proof of a negative Covid test (24 hours) to eat IN a restaurant or go into many entertainment venues. Masks are still required indoors and crowded outdoor events, here, too. We travelled to San Francisco in August and they already had the vax card requirement for restaurants. Things were hoppin' down there. It was good to see. I'll make sure to do some last minute research before we come to London in the spring (🤞). I haven't done a ton of restaurant research, yet. My SIL recommend Dishoom and said we definitely have to go to the Burrough Market. And I think we'll try Poppies Fish and Chips (for my son). 👍

Unvaxxed can work in restaurants but can't work in them so that's why we have reports of servers spitting in the food. Can't blame them.
