PLACES MENTIONED:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
* The wonderful air bnb we stayed in - SO central and really recommend:
www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/119269...
* Zenith for breakfast - This wasn't mind-blowing but still a good spot to go to when you fancy a standard brunch!
* Câmara Municipal do Porto - The city hall (that also had the Christmas lights and the NYE concert)
* Capela das Almas (Chapel of Souls) - Such a BEAUTIFUL church.
* Fabrica da Nata - Out of the three places I tried, this still remains to be my favourite place for pasteis de nata! It's only €1 per one or €2.50 with a glass of port (obviously my choice)
* Imperial McDonald's - The fanciest McDonald's I've been in so far. I didn't eat anything here but did see an interesting menu!
* Jardins do Palácio de Cristal - A peaceful garden near the Superbock Arena. Legend has it, JK Rowling wrote a few chapters of Harry Potter here!
* Matosinhos Beach - I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen here. Popular with surfers!
* A Marisqueira de Matosinhos - Great oysters and loved the octopus rice. Got there at opening time to a near empty restaurant but it was packed 2 hours later!
* Majestic Cafe - A very touristic restaurant so expect to queue. A lot pricier than your standard restaurant in Porto but thoroughly enjoyed the French Toast (Majestic Style).
* Dom Luis I Bridge - Great place to come to for a walk and to see a wonderful view of Porto and River Duoro!
* Ribeira Square - The neighbourhood we stayed in and the heart of Porto! Great place to stroll around if you appreciate architecture and historical buidlings (with a lot of restaurant and bars around too)
* Cafe Santiago - Probably the most popular spot to try the francesinha sandwich. I didn't expect to like this at all but REALLY enjoyed it!
* Clerigos Tower/Church - You can climb up the bell tower (200 steps and entrance fee). Kept seeing this from our balcony and it's quite the sight!
* Sao Bento - One of the most beautiful train stations I've ever seen. I could stare at the historical scenes depicted in the 20,000 tiles for hours.
* Bota&Bira - A quality steak restaurant and booking is essential. Incredible service and food was fantastic (there are also a few veggie and fish options)
* Livraria Lello - It's a beautiful bookshop with no crowd control. Wasn't a pleasant experience
* Ze Bota - Great Portuguese food with a lot of choice for wine. Bacalau and seafood rice were the standout dishes for me!
* Miradouro da Vitoria - Another great viewpoint for sunset over Porto
* Manteigaria - Another great spot for pasteis de nata! Sweeter and flakier than Fabrica
* Impar Flores - Heavy on the oil but recommended restaurant in the centre of town
* Jardim do Morro - A garden at the end of Dom Luis I bridge. Climb to the top (opposite the park) for a great view of the bridge

Beautiful presentation, Shu. Am so looking forward to going their soon. You are quite inspiring with all of the perfect visuals. It would have been great had u slowed down ur talking as I was unable to understand much of the time. Though, there were times when u spoke slowly and that was very nice. Thank you for ur artful work.
Amazing!
Wow remember when we all celebrated the start of 2020? We were all so innocent and oblivious XD

Never EVER go to Cafe Santiago for a francesinha. It's well known by now that they get it frozen and it's far from being the best Francesinha in town. Locals sort of make jokes about how tourists are being mislead by the fame of that place. Nice of you to show Matosinhos! A lot of vloggers and even tourists that come here often are surprised that Porto actually have a beach. It has by far one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, and I have my fair share of trips across the world.
Very good Shu. The Architecture is amazing. The food is awesome but hope your doing your yoga very rich food.

Please put prices for everything! Great video. Thanks

It’s delicious! I always try to get salted cod when I’m in Portugal! If you love seafood, it’s such a great dish! ☺️
Great video, I dunno how can you eat that much. That's a a lot of food you guys ordered, let's hope it didn't to waste.
The shots are amazing, what camera are you using? 😍
Sabores autênticos hiii valem pena desfrutar as iguarias PT
Gah, take us back to Porto for all this delicious food we didn't try the first time!
Porto looks like a must visit place Shu! I see a lot of potentially delicious foods, great things to photograph and stomach aches from eating too much desserts! Hahahaa... One tart for one euro? That’s dangerous for me. I’ll take 20 please! 😂😂✌🏾
@dejashu

Yes! It really does have it all! From a street photography standpoint, it has so much to offer too so you’ll have to make your way there! I KNOW?! €1?! How can I say no?! (I didn’t)

Shu Just curious but how does it compare to Lisbon? That’s also on my bucket list and I’m pretty sure I’ll go there when I go to Porto.
Do you mind to share the B&B during your stay there. Going there soon and looking for a good accommodation which walkable to everything shown in your video. Thank you.
The restaurant call Ímpar Flores
Was it free to visit the Bookstore when you went...? They started charging a 4 euro enterance fee to cut down on the crowds..... if you buy a book, you get a discount.
One advice when you're traveling here - traditionally, we don't do brunch, nor we eat ham or eggs for breakfast. When in Rome, act Roman. Try our traditional continental breakfast. It's light, it's delicious, and it won't leave you stuffed for 3 hours.
@Haneson
2 жыл бұрын
Great;-) how does the typical portugese breakfast look like?
@ruialmeida818
2 жыл бұрын
@@Haneson it's the common continental breakfast - bread, milk and/or coffee, orange juice, and, in some parts of the country, fresh fruit. In some parts of the country, especially in more rural areas, you might also eat some cured meats over breakfast, like presunto (smoked and salted ham) or Portuguese chouriço (or chorizo, as most people from abroad spell it, despite being the Spanish spelling). Bottom line, our typical breakfast is the continental one, as described. That is common all over the country.
You visited my country and my favourite town in Portugal!! I hope you had one of the best times of your life here xD

“it is half an hour from 2020!!!”
❤🎉
Stay at 2019.
Shu! The home of port wine and you didn't even show any of the port houses. All the top port houses are just on the other side of the river.
Even i really enjoyed Portuguese foods 🤗 i am sure you too enjoyed.I recently uploaded my porto vlog in my channel.
Só em Portugal e que se come assim
Come to srilanka 🇱🇰
The egg whites aren't what was leftover, it was the egg YOLKS which is how pasteis de nata was started. Egg yolks make custard, not the whites
