▶ABOUT NAMI NO KURASHI
I'm Nami, an office worker living alone in Tokyo.
The Japanese pronunciation "Nami" has several meanings.
One Nami is a girl's name, and the other Nami means ordinary.
Naminokurashi(Nami's life) is a combination of these two meanings.
Kurashi means daily life.
I don't have any special skills. My life is ordinary days.
I hope you enjoy my ordinary days!

I just started watching her videos and am absolutely hooked. Her sweet, positive personality and humor really shine through, and she's such a phenomenal cook. I also like her homage to the various cats she encounters on her walks. I have two cats and they are my heart. 🍲🍤🍡🍥😍🐱🐱❤

@@conniescrustycharredcooter2476 Me too! She's a great example to young women everywhere. Young women need to respect and nurture themselves more. This is the time to embrace their inner strength and independence, get their education and establish themselves in a career, not be "looking to be rescued." There's strength and serenity in independence. I love watching her daily routine, how she relishes cooking beautiful meals for herself, enjoys simple pleasures like neighborhood walks amongst the cherry blossoms, trips to cozy cafes, buying fresh flowers for her apartment, the skin care pampers and bath bombs - and those adorable Cat Cafe teas. 😄 This is how strong, confident women should treat themselves!! P.S. Looks like you have a Bombay cat too!

Sweet Nami, This long period of pandemic has been difficult for everyone around the world, but it seems that Tokyo has had extra periods of quarantine. It makes me happy to think of the beautiful way you live your daily life, but I also want you to feel less anxiety and stress; the isolation is, I am sure, quite hard. You are lucky to have contact with friends at work. Please take care and be safe knowing how much you are beloved by your KZread community!💓💓

Saluditos 🙂

Thank you for saying that. I lived in Japan from 1985-88. I was a Woman Marine, stationed in Iwakuni. I asked to be stationed there, and it turned out to be everything I dreamed of. Japan has always felt like my heart, my second country. Now, I remember it all day, every day, by drinking sencha in a beautiful yunomi (I have collected almost 100 of them thanks to eBay, and I use them all...my favorite style is Hagi because it is always changing over time as you use it). And videos like your also help me remember the feeling of being in Japan. Thank you for sharing your life.

Congratulations on reaching 400K !! I discovered your channel recently and you've been inspiring me to cook more and practice more self care so I want to thank you for that. I loved seeing the spoon with the Little Prince on it, it's a huge book in my country, I think most kids and adults read it. I'm looking forward to your other videos, stay safe and be well 😊

В России тоже готовят похожие лепешки с сыром внутри. Это блюдо пришло к нам из Карачаево-балкарской кузни и обжариваются на сухой сковороде. Спасибо за видео повседневной жизни и русские субтитры ❤️

Nami, I have been following you for over a year, watch and rewatched all your videos and have used your videos as inspiration for my life. Your videos have been my go to for calmness, appreciation for life and the little things, Japanese culture and elegance. Please make more videos that are as long as this because I was so excited to see that this video was 28 minutes and not only showed your cooking but your day to day living which I love so much. Lots of love and stay safe 💕💕💕

I used to live alone-for 11years. I enjoyed it most of the time-I enjoyed the independence and freedom. I understand that you can feel isolated and alone, but you overcome that with fun distractions and it’s nice to see you treat and take good care of yourself. Stay well, sending you love and friendship from California. 😊❤️
