The early version Hyperion had those purple cross lasers in Phase 1 that always got me my first time, because I never noticed them. The Ascension DLC changed them to red lasers, so at least you can dash through them now.

I had so much trouble with boss 1 and 2. Boss 3 was easier (and such a cool fight!). This one I made on the first run. It's so easy. Just strafe and shoot, with an occasional jump or dash. I used the Carbine with Kill Shot special.

Bro opposite! Had Phrike and Exion on the 1st attempt but took a good 5 tries (with Astronaut revive)vto take down Nemesis. But it was an epic fight for sure

Good breakdown. But I'm guessing you also had the Adrenalin Leech for this run. Something that I hope I get.

There's another permanent upgrade for the Weapons also with Leech on the name.. also very good for the bosses, since you can get up to 10% chances of getting health back by just shooting. That is indeed a life saver.. I've defeated Nemesis on the first run with that and didn't even used a health consumable.. I got really addicted to this game.. 😅

The devs clearly have something against musicians

Done in first try. Easiest boss for the moment. The worst was Nemesis.

Congrats! Yes, Nemes is the worst, and in my opinion should've been the final boss. That fight was Epic as hell.

Beat every other boss first try. This guy I'm on my 5th try and still haven't got it.

I just beat this boss on the first try and im not good at this game. I bought returnal release day and just started playing it a week ago

Playing it through for the second time after finishing it a while ago and this boss is really cool. Love the organ music that progressively increases as you climb higher.

I was so close to beating it on the first go.

I've ruined so many good stocked runs on this dumb boss, thinking I can beat it and I always fuck it up.
