I really appreciate that you "show your work" by including your line drawings! For those of us that don't use projectors, printers or light tables, the drawing stage is a large, important part of the painting process. I think shortcutting the line work robs an artist of the experience and the painting of some feeling, but I get the allure of speeding up production. Beautiful work as always! I enjoy watching your videos, you keep a filthy palette like I do. lol

Hi Tim. I managed to get a spread in Classic and Sports Car magazine on my car stuff. I quoted you as my inspiration - even though I’ve given up trying to emulate your style. I got very frustrated. Respect

I loved your chickens -adorable. I like your grey roof too I think i will try this scene., deleting much of the junk in the foreground ,to simplify it. I also would go with more dull green , with the trees in the back-round. I like the dark olive green part of your back trees, but your aqua there, is too bright.. I was thinking to add more red to the barn too (a warm red). Much too dark there, if you have a dark foreground too. I think I will leave out the tracker because vehicles are difficult for me to paint., but I'm considering adding a clothes line, or a coop. Thanks for the instruction here. I always learn something. This farm you can make your own-very charming. What color is flesh tone?
