    Beautifully filmed! I really loved the sweeping camera motions when at the table saw. It gives the scenes visual interest beyond what you're doing on screen. I gotta get me a Dan. Heck, I'll even take a Chuck at this point!

    @@sailingeric nice, another great brand of tool that is completely underrated. Especially their warranty on batteries. I would have saved over $500 already compared to my 18v DeWalt batteries I’ve replaced over and over.

    No soft close drawer slides, but walnut edge banding is appropriate for shop furniture.

    Great build love the build and don’t listen to people saying to not use this or that. Personally I like the walnut edge and it’s a solid build using plywood!

    I'm always so jealous of the quality of the plywood you got there. In my country the edges are never that clear and smooth, at the most we have 6 layers, and the faces usually have very contrasting spots, and i'm talking about the nice quality ones, Furniture grade stuff , which is guaranteed to not have voids between the layers (which they sometimes do anyway)

    That fein turbo shopvac is by far the best one I have used. Very quiet and great suction. I don't own one personally but I have been wanting to get one for awhile. Also this table came out great! I want to make something similar for my omtech laser, just not as tall probably.

    Nice job David. That style of shop furniture is my favorite. Simple to build, plenty sturdy. I'm not a fan of the iron on/adhesive edge banding either.

    First of all, this is a sweet-ass looking shop cabinet. The fake door front was a surprise twist I wasn't expecting. B) moment of silence for the Kapex. Finally, I laughed way too hard at #1 Woodworking Tip (every time for the last how many years?), and the transition blocking in and out of the ad segment. I guess we're just having fun here. Thanks for sharing!

    I made something. For the shop. I used soft-close drawers, but no walnut. Sometimes I use push-to-open drawers, so I don't have to make handles.

    If you cut a 6" hole centered near the end of each drawer, you would have a set of Cornhole Drawers. Cover the holes for drawer mode, then uncover and take outside for cornhole mode. :)

    Run out to Harbor Freight and get a replacement miter saw. You won't feel bad about tossing it out when you get your Kapex back...
