Love it Finally, the channel is alive again. The thematology is right, and the new host has a lot of potential, once he gains some camera experience. Little advice, I think the thumbnail should be more focused on the finished product, and also you should have had 2-3 minutes at the end, showcasing the final build, instead of ending abruptly (I know this is kinda nitpicking, but I love this channel and I'm so hopeful for it's future. I just want to help any way I can)

There is something called a pool noodle here. It is also foam though a little less dense. But still OK for kids use I'd guess. Benefit. Already round. Less cutting and shaping. So faster sword. Downside: less construction time with your kid before you get hit with it 😂

Pool noodles are great for younger kids! Cheap and easy to build! They just don’t have enough impact resistance for adults to use them for very long.

  • @corrpendragon

Can confirm, I've been hit by plenty of pool noodle swords. This is essentially Level 2 of that. Pool noodle bats are fun and VERY entertaining for younger folks. But adults hit harder, and pool noodles break down very quickly and can easily lead to injury. :)
