Easy to Make and Accurate Track Saw Cut-Off Waste Side Jig!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The Kreg track saw can make accurate furniture grade cuts safely on large sheet goods with a minimum of tear-out. But it is not good at ripping measured narrow cut-off strips-- until now! I'll show you how to easily make your own D-I-Y jig so you can rip long narrow measured waste side cuts as easily as on a table saw... maybe easier!

Thanks, Moose! Maybe I'm so used to a table saw over the decades that I use my track saw in the same way to cut measured strips. So I've really put my little jig to work! I don't have to push large sheets through the table saw any more. Much safer, and the Kreg track makes great cuts for the long stuff.
Good idea, Stan. I will adopt this idea for my trusty Makita 6000. You have a great voice and a good manner of explaining your concept.

Very kind words, Mark! I've done a number of projects using this little jig on my track saw. So much better than pushing big 4x8 panels through the table saw.
Thank you for sharing. Big fan of Kreg products, The track saw is nice for cutting the bottoms of doors. Enjoyed the video.👍 Gary

Thanks, Gary! I'm at the point in life where shoving 4' x 8' plywood sheets through the table saw isn't as much fun as it used to be! 🤣
Awesome, thank you!
