    Just watched this on TCM tonight. I love musicals, especially Esther Williams' movies! Tony Martin was my mom's heart throb and I could feel her presence tonight as I watched this beautiful movie!!!

    I was 8 years old and fell in love with Esther Williams. My Aunt Irene and her looked alot alike. She was so great to watch. My Favorite film she did was "Dangerous When Wet". Great movies to watch back then ! Still love them.

    I never bought Esther and Van as a couple. They came off as brother and sister. Van NEVER came off in love scenes. No wonder, as he was GAY, lol.
