I LOVE listening to podcasts while working in my kitchen. I got hooked on true crime, just before the Murdock trial, and have been watching or listening to a variety of murders solved years later, etc. I especially enjoy the ones where security cameras on homes and businesses, pick up evidence that is later used to convict a suspect. I can't understand how so many spouses think they can get away with murdering their spouse!! I told my husband, if anything happened to him, and police searched my phone, they would likely have a lot of questions regarding all the murder cases I watched!;LOL!! Loved your makeovers!!

One of my projects that is much admired and even copied on my street are my house numbers. I salvaged a discarded picture frame. It is plastic that was molded in the shape of very intricate and ornate wrought iron. I cut a thin sheet of wood to fit inside the frame and purchased house numbers to attach to the wood. I painted the frame and the wood in colors to coordinate with my home exterior. It looks like very expensive custom work, but it was mostly FREE (giggle). Anyone can easily use the idea. Just keep an eye out for an inexpensive and particularly beautiful frame that compliments the architecture of your home. Remember when you choose your color scheme that the color of the house numbers needs to contrast with their background.

I wanted to share what I thought when you asked "any ideas for this little bird cage"? It's a cut cage, an if you can hang it from an old bird cage bracket near the window..wow. Try using a live "string of pearls" plant inside the cage and hang it. "The strands of green pearls will gracefully hang down at different lengths. (Additional thought) Perhaps add a fishing line with a 3 inch drop from the center bottom with a cut crystal to shimmer its colored prisms on the walls from a beam of sunlight. I just bumped into your video today.. I'm very impressed. I can't wait to get back to see more. you're doing great. 🙂

Speaking of leaf transfers on lampshades, I keep toying with the idea of making a table lamp that looks much more like a tree than a lamp. The lamp post would look like tree trunk and the shade would be the tree's canopy of leaves, ideally a weeping willow. I have used the leaves from craft store silk plants and glued them to a lampshade, completely covering the shade by overlapping the leaves. I like that effect.

🤔Spray Booth 😉 My late husband was a mechanic/mechanical panel beater and did his own spray painting. He was a genius at paint titration.
