+Mr.Crafty Dude Hers is completely different to mine. That sugar skull is completely covered in crystals, where as mine is painted - it's completely different. If you search sugar skulls you'll see many are similar, it doesn't mean they've all copied mine or that I've copied theirs, and I wouldn't accuse them of copying either.

I love how you are actually teaching and explaining what to do! No one hardly does that!

Thank you!! I made a promise to my kids that I'd dress up for Halloween with them, so I needed to figure out how to go about getting the look I wanted. I've always loved sugar skulls, long before I even knew what they were called or became popular. I had no idea what kind of products I'd even need, much less how to use them. In other "tutorials", they're using professional SFX make-up that's way too far out of my price range, or they don't really tell you how they got the look. I really appreciate that you explained everything nicely!! And I absolutely love the color scheme that you used (I've been kind of stuck on those colors, & even my fingernails have to follow suit)!!

I have to do all my staff's faces for our new years eve party and I'm so glad I found this. It's the best one. Thanks so much for the effort X

I'm 12 years old and was looking for a halloween makeup tutorial but all the ones I liked the look of involved lots of different products I'd never even heard of, difficult steps and things I couldn't get my hands on (such as eye contacts) but this tutorial was perfect. thank you!

This is the simplest and best tutorial I have seen for this! Recently in my Spanish class we have talked about the Day of the Dead, which we will be celebrating in class as it isn't on a school day. I found this Sugar Skull painting very fascinating and immediately looked it up to see what I could find. This goes into simple but great detail, which is so helpful. I haven't done this before, but does anyone think it would work well with a mummy costume? Thank you.
