    Never tried cutting one off, replaced a couple but they did actually pop off for me easily enough. If they're THAT stuck, then cutting makes sense!

    Had the same issue with a black and Decker Now ive the same issues with a aeg battery drill

    it happens to all drills sooner or later.. the more power the drill has the faster the chuck jaws loose there surface grip.. I have found this to be the easy way to swap the chuck out ..Thanks

    My chucks are so worn Shawn, they are difficult to turn, and don't hold drills properly.

    My chuck freely spins and the teeth won’t reverse any further than 3/4 of the way closed and won’t move in or out. Any ideas

    I used a 1/2" drillbit (largest bit in my kit) and now my chuck is stuck. I'm still under warranty so maybe I'll go that rout first! I've drilled a total of like 10 holes so far. This is total BS. My old Ryobi had to come finish the job as the Ryobi's often do! Sure beats my Milwaukee 1/2" hammer drill tho... that recently caught on fire after about only 3 holes drilled LOL

    @@misterbulger can you but it in the lowest clutch setting it has and grab the chuck with some channel locks and give it a little turn ?

    All these helpless videos show a frozen chuck without a drill bit in it. My chuck has a 1/8" drill bit stuck in the chuck !

    you may have to grab the chuck with a pair of pliers and try to get it out . If not watch my other vids on the subject . Thanks !
