Hello, my lovely friend! Today, I have an absolutely BREATHTAKING, crochet shawl pattern to share with you. It's a GORGEOUS, lacy, triangle shawl that features a subtle gradient fade. I just know you're going to ADORE it!
In this video, I'll show you how to work Rows 1-13, as well as the Magic Ring cast on. You'll learn how to crochet all of the special stitches included in this pattern.

Sunset Diamonds is an Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate level crochet shawl pattern, and it is shown here in our Epochal Hues Alpaca Silk Lace yarn. I've crocheted one shawl. I needed something soothing to calm my mind while I was recovering from an operation to remove cancer last year. The rhythm of the stitches and the growth of the shawl were healing. It gave me a space to breathe and start to find myself as a person again instead of just being a patient. I understand. I often said that knitting and crochet saved me when I was going through a crisis. I read stories about this, and I couldn't understand how that was possible. Oh! I now fully understand how that is possible.

I first started crocheting several decades ago, and made shawls for my sisters as well as myself. After a 25-year hiatus, I came back to it just before the pandemic hit, and am now hoping to complete shawls for my daughters and nieces. This pattern looks so lovely, it's moved to the top of my list. I can't wait to try it.

At one point I was very hesitant to try a shawl but I finally worked up the courage to do one. There was no stopping me after that & shawls have become my favourite thing to make. My friend & I make shawls to donate to senior’s residences & other places. I love this shawl & it is moving to the top of my list of shawls to do. I love it!

I have crocheted a few shawls. My favorite was one I made my mother for when she was going through chemo. She wore it every day. She said it gave her such comfort and she felt like she was getting a hug from me each time she wore it.

I've actually crocheted about 6 of them in different styles that I've given as gifts. This one I would make for myself - I absolutely LOVE it! I am a seasoned crocheter and love finding things that are easy to make - it gives me time to make several and also leaves time for me to learn new things - I love challenging myself.

This shawl is so gorgeous! When I first learned to crochet 5 years ago I mostly made scarves and shawls. I still like to make shawls. I live part time in Florida and shawls are so useful for when you go from the heat of summer into a freezing air conditioned restaurant.
