Always appreciate your dry humor ... and your Leonardo editing software tips [and, of no consequence, I worked with NASA druing the 1st moon walk mission]. (not to be confused with the 1st Michael Jackson moon walk.) We faked that so well, even I believed it was real. . Cheers, Chuck (a 76-year-old geazer in Florida - USA)

THANK YOU SO MUCH This is seriously the best tutorial for intellitrack. No useless nonsense and proper direction for what to do. I hate how many "tutorials" are out there made by people with such a customized Davinci layout that it's hardly recognizable!

shame on you as it is a fact, do your research about how much NASA earns a day, and then, take a look at the wires actornauts use to float in zero gravity, look closely at how their clothes are pulled

god damn that is really good stabilization. i imagine in the future basic edits will be one touch/button especially with AI integration. how long until we have the tracker just working in the background and immediately caching data as we are manipulating other objects
I have tried every stabilization method I’ve seen on KZread and none of them work for me but this one actually seems like it might just work I have to try it out later thanks 🙏🏻

@@LazyArtist89 sadly it didn't because (obvious once I think about it🤦♂) I was doing a handheld camera pan from left to right and the method doesn't account for that. Any suggestions on which stabilizer I should use for something like that?

you could just set the operation to match move and only use FG or BG. then you don't need a transform node
Could you do side by side if this vs the stabilization tool available already in the inspector?
OMG I am rushing to try this now, I can't wait to get rid of After Effects from my workflow, the only reason why I still use AE was for stabilization of shaky clips

In the studio version there are a couple of stabiliser options that can do some great work
Not very great example and result here (can see distortions like Perspective stabilization mode makes seems due to rolling shutter) but amazing method that will be very useful for me, thank you! Often stabilizer attaching to moving people in the frame and making ugly result.
Thanks!!!! BTW...is it just me, or instead of having to add a transform node and modifying center and angle...should they not have added a simple little button that says "Stabilize"? Oh, also, I love the thumbnail!

OK, Great video -- I was unaware that this was possible easy (I've used it a half dozen times today!). But this technique works for the non-AI, free version as well, and it always has. You are literally being "Lazy" by pawning off an old "classic" technique as though its a "New AI" thing. Maybe you are really Microsoft?
How to stabilize just the Y axis?
the "handheldness" of the camera adds some flare and some character so i would never do this to my beautiful footage
Let's make some money folks!
