Hello sweet Jo!!! This set is lovely! Makes me think of our beloved Boston terrier Daisy May who passed away back in 2011 from Cushions disease, a brain tumor on a part of her brain they couldn’t remove. My daughter was the one she was closest too and anytime we see anything with Daisy’s on them we automatically think of her🌼 You always are an inspiration to me sweet Jo. I hope I’m as talented at doing cute nails as you are. Oh and fyi I love your rambling!! I’m a rambler as well but you explain things so well with your rambling 💕 Thank you as always my sweet friend Jo for alway# doing these videos for us. Sending loads of love from Kentucky 💙

I had to come back to this video to let you know; I did daisies!!! I was always intimidated to try them on a paying client! But, I DID IT! And, she loved them! She was even showing them off to the ladies in the hair salon on her way out. Haha. Thank you!

When you were critiquing your daisies, all I could think was "At least they don't look like fried eggs", 😂. And then you mentioned my fried egg comment from your last video. I was so tickled that you remembered! This set is so cute, and the glitter nail absolutely goes with the rest. That's something I would do if I ran out of ideas, or I was just sick of faffing with them, LOL!

When you leave your "bloopers" in the video, trouble shoot & get it right, I find it helps me when I hit a bloop & I think "what would Jo do..." bcos you keep it real, its easier for us phlebs to relate as opposed to a fancy, cut & edited video. Well in my 2cented opinion😉🙃💅🏾

Omg! Jo your daisies are charming, as are you. Each nail tech has a different level of artistic skill and that’s what makes them unique. These daisies are lovely. I learned from watching and listening to your creative process. Happy Easter to you and I hope your nieces have loads of chocolates and a new pair of spring shoes. My mum always gave us new shoes at Easter.

I'm a bit miffed cos I did flowers (couldn't call them daisies) on my daughter's nails before she went back to uni in Belfast the other night - shit timing for me as per 😆 no matter where I try I can never get a skinny detail brush like this .. please would u share where I might pick one up.. preferably still attached to a steady hand! Thank you! Ah I feel your pain! Skinny detail needs a good brush! The brushes I use are from Crystal Nails. The 0 Long, 0 Short, Loop, and Barbara 2 are my go to! The 0s are the skinny ones. Not sure they come with steady hand attached, mind 🤣🤣

Miss Jo… nature is not perfect so we don’t have to be. Daisies don’t have perfectly equal petals and I love that yours aren’t perfect. I know I may be weird.🤷🏼‍♀️😂😂I totally understand being type A and a perfectionist though. I have to try hard not to tear myself apart and accept imperfection.. You did fantastic! Jo-seph!! You’re too hard on yourself. Every set is perfect! My guess is you’re an artist and took art classes, like my husband and daughter. When I see him or her draw, it looks great to me, but they manage to point out all the flaws they see, but this non-artist doesn’t see. My daughter has crossed out so many pieces she worked on and I secretly keep them You know my favorite set is? The steam punk nails with the cogs ⚙️ and gears and clock 🕰 pieces. I have all the stuff and I’m scared to try. Maybe hubs will help but he’ll see it as a chore unless he’s inspired

Hehe, I am, but I cut myself some slack sometimes 🤣 I did the regular school curriculum art, but never anything 'proper' 😆 I suspect I'd suck on a bigger scale! Though I did paint a rather delightful rainbow ombré on a paving slab with chalk the other day 🤣 Ooh yeah, the steampunk ones were cool! Definitely give them a go!

Daisys.... 🤦‍♀️😆 so i learned to do the cross with the dots and then a dot in the middle of each dot and then if you can add dots between those to fit perfectly insync with each other

Oh I like that idea! Just 4 to start in a cross, and then get a couple between each one. I'll add that to my 'tips to draw basic things because I suck at them' list! 😆 Thank you!

When you're putting together a set like this (LOVE it by the way), how do you decide what order to put the nails in? Does that question make sense? In case it doesn't... I mean... you have 2 polka dot, 2 flower, one glitter... you did dot, glitter, flower, dot, flower. I STRUGGLE with this. Yours always look so pleasing with the order you place them in. Is there a trick? A technique? A rule of thumb? (Maybe a rule of pinky? haha)

Thank you! 🥰 I know exactly what you mean! It takes me a few mins to switch them around and try different layouts, but I always try to not put the same things next to each other. I always put the main, most detailed or interesting nail in the middle, then on this set I thought about the polkadots either side, but I thought the glitter looked odd on an end, and wanted split up all the blue to spread it out, and definitely didn't want the polkadots next to each other. Imagine this with the polkadot ones switched round - it would be a bit blue heavy on one end. Maybe think about it like a set of scales, and either side of your main nail needs to be balanced in colour and design. Hope that helps 😬
