It really is amazing. The best explanation I’ve heard of what it feels to learn Spanish is the reaction an average Spanish learner has to either hearing or needing to produce “hola, como estas?” The meaning is completely internalized. There is no translating, nor any deconstruction of the phrase/conjugation analysis. It’s instantly understood or produced on demand. The count and complexity of the phrases and words that do this in your mind just keeps growing…

I really love the way you teach. I’m in my second year of learning spanish, and watching these is really good for me to practice listening.

El bistro es un caso interesante porque históricamente era un tipo de bar muy casual y barato (y todavía existe), pero ahora existe otro tipo de bistro que es un restaurante típicamente francés, bastante caro y elegante. Esto se debe a que hay chefs que quieren reproducir el París de antes. Entonces, un bistro puede ser ambos extremos.

Love these! The addition of hand gestures and facial expressions make it very funny. The only thing is I forget the words, so maybe at end put up a quick list, would be really helpful.

I've started studying Spanish not that long ago (for a few months) and I'm so happy and grateful that you've made these awesome videos! I think this way of learning is the best since just looking at pages of words isn't as helpful as actually seeing the objects. And I also like that you don't talk too fast so it's easy to listen to how words are pronounced. I hope you'll have a great year (2024). Greetings from Finland.

Thank you! Your videos so helpful and fun) "Bistro" sounds like russian word with meaning fast, quickly. And I've always suspected that this was an addition to french culture brought by russian immigrants. It's only my guess, but seems like it fits the purpose of establishment. Like fast food.
