FR I hunted a shiny metang and it took me over 75+ premier balls at 1 HP and asleep only for it to kill itself with struggle. It took less premier balls to catch the entire Loyal 3 combined

I don't know what's more amazing the fact you got 2 shinies in 5 mins or the fact I didn't get 1 in 30 mins😩

Took me around 3-4 resets until I saw it. Had a tough time catching it but finally did it with a Timer Ball. You helped me also with getting a Duraludon, and now this. Thank you.

For one sparkling sandwich, finding 2 in 1 spawn is pretty crazy. Lighting in this game still throws me off for some shinies. Need to definitely grind out more herbas to do easier hunts

Always remember to save your game if a shiny appears. That way, you can just restart your game and try again, as it saves the spawns that have appeared. This has literally saved me before.

I found 2 shiny Forretress one time with a lvl 3 Steel sandwich. It was an incredible moment.

Used this method today and spawned two shiny beldum in my first 30! Thank you 🙏🏽

I love shiny hunting so much and I absolutely hate that I'm colorblind. The whole time I'm just paranoid about missing one cuz they all just look greyish to me. Can't even do the picnic reset method just chillng in one spot I gotta run up to all of them to check their little claws cuz I can differentiate the gold.

If anyone needs an easier method for getting the rare pokeballs for catching shinies, get the item printer from the club and upgrade it twice. You have a chance of a pokeball lottery and get any of the apricot balls, beast balls, and even more master balls and it's repeatable, though just chance odds of happening when you make items.

I found three in one sandwich!! I used the synchro machine to knock them out instead tho, great spot.

I happen to have a meting outbreak in this exact spot but I want Heldin. Is it worth it to reset the outbreak?

sneak up and throw the pokeball from the back catching them off guard seems to help with the catch rate

I transferred my shiny beldum from OR&AS to Home and then to Scarlet. My beldum is a special event one with cherish ball and OT name Steven

How do you throw a pokeball at them to initiate a battle like that wth I been missin out

Man, I ran three dragon sandwiches yesterday trying to get a shiny duraludon. An hour and a half of hunting with shiny charm, mass outbreak and sandwiches. Found a decent area where I could do a reset every 25 seconds or so and saw hundreds of them and still didn't find one. Super annoying how RNG works against you sometimes.

I'm half tempted to send over a shiny metagross from my PoGo account just so I can skip this hunt altogether.

*Just a quick correction:* The _actual_ catch rate for Beldum is NOT 3% as you have stated. The catch rate is, in fact, listed as 3, or, to be more specific, 3/255, which is ever-so-slightly over 1%. (1.17647059%, according to Bing's calculator function.) I'm just relieved that Beldum's only naturally learnable move in Gen IX is *Tackle,* as it used to be *Take Down* in previous generations, which made catching it even more stressful. (Especially in the Gen IV games, which was the first Pokémon game generation in which it could be found in the wild, as it would sometimes spawn in hordes on Sinnoh's Route 228, which is constantly bombarded by sandstorms.)

No it’s not shiny locked. Meteor form Minior looks identical to shiny meteor form Minior though, so you want to auto battle every Minior you see.

lol I used a master ball cause I used 45 ultra and 10 timer balls

day 1 of the DLC i knew i wanted 2 Pokemon on my team. a shiny Flygon evolved from a Trapinch, and a Shiny Jumbo Metagross. i ended up catching 9 shiny Beldum and the 9th was my Jumbo guy!!

Trying this method. No luck so far. Edit: Caught a Metang and a Beldum shiny

252 HP / 124 Atk / 76 SpD / 56 Spe Adamant works pretty wel for me -Trailblaze coverage to hit water types and useful to get a bit of extra speed -Meteor Mash stab -Earthquake coverage -Psychic Fangs stab can take out reflect and light screen as well Item: Weakness Policy Or you can run EVs: 252 HP / 76 Atk / 64 Def / 100 SpD / 16 Spe Impish With this spread you are bit more slower but tankier in return -Heavy Slam stab and metagross comes in at around 1200lb so it will do approx 100-120 bp depending on your matchup -Psychic Fangs stab can take out reflect and light screen as well -Stealth Rocks to set up you can easy lead with metagross because of this spread -Ice/Thunder/Bullet Punch coverage or a stab prio move possibly as revenge killer (The last move could be basicly anything you want/like) Item: Leftovers/Air balloon
