Rigatoni Arrabbiata is a classic Italian pasta dish with a spicy tomato-based sauce with a bold and rustic flavor.
Arrabbiata is the perfect pasta sauce for an easy but tasty last-minute dinner, as you can make it in 20 minutes with simple pantry staples.
⭐️ Ingredients
3 tablespoons (55 grams) extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic finely chopped, pressed, or grated
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes more or less to taste
28 ounces (1 large can) (800 grams) whole peeled tomatoes + ½ cup water to rinse can
1 teaspoon salt or more to taste
3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley chopped
FOR THE PASTA
12 ounces (340 grams) rigatoni
¾ gallon (3 liters) water
1½ tablespoons (21 grams) sea salt for the pasta water

🎆 ~ 👍👍👍👍👍 Yikes-O-Rama!!! ❤ Reee-dic EZ. 🤣👊 *BAM* 👊🤣 EVERYBODY: Ya gotta try this!!! THIS was sooo worth the wait!!! I finally bought a box of rigatoni & fresh parsley that your recipe calls for (& a wedge of parmesano reggiano that i grated for the top just B4 plating it) & made this a few days ago - oh my goodness - i have a *new favorite hot pasta meal* now!!! It was fantastic!!! The SAUCE - wowww!!! Only other changes i made, besides topping with healthy 💖 cheese, was that i added a fresh bay leaf & a handful of dried rosemary to the pasta water; plus, i used my potato masher to squish the tomatoes (faster than a fork & I'd waited 1½ weeks to make it & i was hungry lol!), & i added dried marjoram & a little dried rosemary to your sauce, & two handfuls of fresh spinach leaves hand-ripped-up added to the sauce the last couple of minutes (too lazy to make a salad lol), & cracked pepper, & fresh basil chiffonaded onto the top after i plated-up. Mmmmm! I _wolfed_ it down & finger-licked the plate ha-ha (no joke).💯 Leftovers the next night were E-VON better - reheated in a small cast iron skillet with EVOO & pink Himalayan salt on med-hi heat 'til bottom layer started charring; folded-in another handful of ripped-up fresh spinach, then a handful more of fresh parsley, & topped with (yesss!) another handful of grated parm, & a handful of fresh basil chiffonaded to finish!!!🎉 (I ate outta the small skillet - 😏 - no plate to wash & it stayed hot longer).🎉🎉🎉 🤣 *CRRRAAAZZZYYYYY GOOOD STUFF* 🌜two nights🌛 in a bloomin' row!!! First time i ever had rigatoni - what a surprise. Thanks for this recipe, NiLo - indebted forever!!! I haven't had _fresh_ parsley in _too many_ years 🤦♀️ long-forgotten just howww goood it is _fresh_ - lol - waaayyyyy better than dried!!! 🤣 Thanks TONS for reminding me.
