This is a great tutorial! I thought I would need a lot of specific tools and special base/top coats for reverse stamping, so I always avoided doing it, but this has made it much less daunting for me and made me realise I can try it with what I have! Thank you.

Hi thank you for a great video. I only use gel polish and although I have done stamping for some time, I have recently started using pigment powders onto tacky layer, top coat and stamping over the colours, my question is? is it possible to fill in the image on a stamper with the powders, so the colours are are where you want them, like you done with the polishes. Thank you 🙂

That method works great too. I just try to save my skin from extra acetone exposure when I can. I've definitely torn a decal or two this way so it's a risk for sure, especially if they are too brittle.

For stamping, specially designed stamping polishes are best for opacity. Many brands have stamping polishes, Born Pretty, Lina, El Corazon, others. For coloring in a stamped image, any polish will work, just depends on the look you want.
