Easy Recipe "PORK IGADO" in a Iron Wok Pan.

Igado, sometimes also spelled higado, is a Filipino spiced pork liver dish originating from the Ilocos Region of Northern Luzon in the Philippines. Other parts of the pig, including innards and tenderloin, are usually also included, although the liver is considered the defining ingredient of the dish.
Ingredients:
1klg Pork loin
1/2 kg Pork Liver
Garlic and onion
Soy sauce
Cooking oil
Bay leaves
Liver spread
Bell Peppers
Ground pepper
Greenpeace
Pork Cubes
Salt to taste
Vinegar
Procedures:
*Pour a cooking oil in to the hot pan
*Sauté the garlic and onion
*Add the marinated pork loin and liver
*Add the liver spread add Bay leaves
*Let it simmer for about 5 minutes
*Add the Greenpeace
*Add the pork Cubes and Msg/Seasoning
*let it simmer for another 5 minutes
*Add the Bell pepper
*Add the vinegar "Notes: Do not stir it or even put the lid after you pour the white vinegar. just wait for 2 minutes.
Best to serve it with hot steamy rice.

Pork igado before hindi ko ito kilala, ang alam ko lang is parang menudo lang din sya pero ito iba dahil mas madaming atay. Nakilala ko ang igado sa side ni hubby at magustuhan ko sya kasi hilig ko din ang atay, tipong itatabi ko ang atay para ayun ang kakainin ko sa huli hehehe
We miss eating Igado... We first tasted it when we were working in Makati, it's almost similar to Menudo...
