I love the idea of ink blending first so you kinda know where the colors go. I'm like you, I put too much thought into where the colors should go and the perfection and equality of each color. :) Thanks for the inspiration! I love these flowers.

lol - I try not to generalize genders because I like to be inclusive etc etc but it's true LOL!! Most men are pretty clueless with colors has been my experience too ;) ;)

Very cool technique! It also was super helpful to me because I have to condense my supplies and had been thinking what distress colors could I keep to do the most with? Helpful, thanks!

I like leaving that little bit of extra then cutting off the flower off after attaching to the base. It leaves a little extra on the card covering the 1/4 or 1/8” of border. It does something visually to the finished card. I don’t know if I’ve explained that well.
