    I Found out the hard way that this galvanized wire is not good for their feet for it causes bubble feet however i noticed that after added a sand box in the cage it stopped happening to the new ones

    Yes. I keep this cage on the ground for that reason. If you’ll notice I also wrapped the 2x4’s inside the wire so they have a place to perch and rest from the wire if need be.

    Why not 2x2 lumber I know almost the same cost as those 2x4s. But I’d rip them down middle then you could be Terry. @CC The 2x4 profile gives more area for poop build up. A couple 3/4 x 2” strips to support the floor wire will help support that thin gauge wire. 1/2x1” welded wire is a very good floor material. I like the 1/2 for the other panels. Helps keep the mice out. Why did they put the blade on the wrong side of your saw. The worm drive version and the 20v saws have it right.

    Curtis Ep 😂 Oh we have a small carpentry business named “Case Customs”. He can read a tape measure & has ran a saw or two since he was old enough to stand up to a radial arm saw. Built his own bed frame & computer desk. He’s a gamer in his free time but he’s no slouch. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks for watching & commenting as always bud.     Their poop lets off a LOT of ammonia. They get very stinky, really fast. Technically, you could keep them in your room, but I would strongly discourage it.

    No more than 12 in here. Keep in mind the number varies whether you have males or females.

    I like the ease of this build. But you do realize what crapping little eating machines these little guys are right? I've had my growouts in a pen for a week now and there is more than an inch of shit under their cage already. Great for a garden but damn that is alot of bird shit

    Winner of a video, been searching for "quail farming for profit" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Eeyila Rudimentary Expediency - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a smashing one off product for discovering how to raise healthy and fertile quail minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got great results with it.
