Thx, the 04:30 tip was gold! I have been using Photoshop superficially but effectively for over 10 years but never knew this feature. I have been asked to modify a World Health Organization pic and more often than not most users in a similar customization situation have avoided the original letter curvature and went for text in straight lines, but now I can do better.😃

Thanx a lot Ruben. I'm using CS 4 and was surprised it works. Some of your tutorial terms are ok for cs 4 but I could not see anything about Shapes under Layer. I was not able to adjust the shape once together (used group layers and was not able to resize as you show here, was not able to type either? But with an Elipse it worked well with my text curved convexly after I moved it from the top inside the bottom of the elipse (to folow the edge of a mug) I hope I can work out the rest later on :)

t doesn't work for me. I am unable to center the circle in the first place so the four blue dots don't appear on the page at the NSEW points of the circle. That means there is no wiggly line. Can someone help me out here please?

hey there, your tutorials are great. im trying this tool at the moment, but my cursor for writing, it doesnt change for that different line when i slide over the circle, it still just write horizontally. i cant figure it out if is there any thing selected that doesnt allow the cursor changes to write over the circle. any thoughts?

You need to use the Elipse tool, not the Eliptical Selection. Elipse Tool is usually nested behind the Rectangle Tool.

Is there a way to curve text before you type it?

Specify if the tutorial is for Mac or Windows, now idk what command t key is in windows

Ok that white cursor does not work I cannot get the wording to center inside the circle.

This is really great, thank you so much. Just one thing, if I'm going to be honest, the giant yellow border is super distracting to me as both a professional photographer and designer. Thank you.

Doesn't work for me at all. On Mac. When I make the circle there are no little handles on it like they appear in the video. Hovering the text cursor doesn't do anything but straight text.
