Oh such sweet little hands planting. Enjoy these years. My 3 girls are 18, 17 and 14. They aren't as excited to help mama in the garden nowadays as they were just a few short years ago. I homeschool as well. Your channel has let me go back in time a bit. We have/had very similar lives. We are in Texas now but came here from Northern Virginia. We went to Lancaster a lot for Sights and Sounds and Amish markets. Very fond memories. ❤

I’m experimenting with a container garden this year. Teaching my grandson (6yrs old) along the way. It’s so much fun to see him get so excited about picking his green beans!

My goodness!! You never cease to amaze me with your creativity girl! This is my first summer in my home and I deal with the same climate here in SE Ohio. Ended up doing raised garden beds in the side yard for my vegetables. Soil is terrible and rocky and wasn't up for the tilling and prep necessary. Unfortunately...my front porch isn't very large...only room for a small table with 2 chairs and a corner I can utilize for my herbs. Porch is in desperate need of a new railing and paint job but it's not in the cards for this summer with all the other projects inside and out currently going. That trellis planter is a perfect idea and I wish this video came out just a week earlier! I still may go back and use this appealing idea. It would not only function but bring some much needed style to my small space and definitely look better than the hodge podge of planters I have sitting on an old metal table/stand. Your videos are always so enjoyable and helpful and watching this first thing this morning with my coffee was almost therapeutic. The girls were absolutely adorable to watch. Your family will be enjoying many summer mornings and evenings in that space🥰

I love your patio garden 🪴! You are so very creative ! I live in central Pa too and it has been so rainy lately ! Ready for some sunshine for sure . We live in a very shady area and last year my veggies didn’t grow well so this year I’m only doing herbs 🌿 and trying a shade cut flower raised bed and we will see how they grow. I am doing tomatoes too! Can’t wait to see how your garden does this year and by the way I have been watching for a long time and I love the happiness you now have . You look so peaceful and happy and I know God has worked in your family’s life.

Hi first time here. And omg I am so glad I did. I love your planter boxes!!! Thank you so much about the tip for the cilantro I did not know that. This year i been working on adding lots of flowers to my patio. However I still want to do a vegetable raised garden. I would like to know how do you keep squirrels from your vegetable garden?

Could you tell us where the greenhouse is located? We're somewhat local. My husband and I tried to figure it out but guessed Engel's, and we don't think it was correct. We also tried to figure out the coffee/ice cream stop. Nope. Lol We still had an enjoyable afternoon. Everything you do is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Since you have 6 trellis planters and 6 hanging herb pots, could you hang one herb pot over the top of each trellis, perhaps then they could remain there throughout the whole season?
