time and care based on what is visible I'd guess ~30-40 minutes with a straightening iron a decent conditioner and maybe a tiny bit if hair spray to prevent fly aways

No. I was actually like, Is that Evelynn in cat form? You aredefinitely hearing Evelynn's voice. And I blieve the word mother is used as a reference to her being a founder of K/DA, so youcan say she is the mother of te pop band. I actually referenced that fact myself when I wrote the final lyrics of Ahri's Best Friends. What's better than a grain of sand? A dear ol' mum, and her loving band!

Thanks so much for this! I adapted the tutorial to make some huge rabbit ears for a jackalope mask. Minor change I made for rabbit ears: I noticed that my pet rabbits have longer fur on the outer edge of their inner ears, so I shaved the center and left the edges long. The ears looked very impressive in the end!

I dont know what is more impressive. The top quality work on making the ears or the pretty presenter. Her hair and face match really nicely with those ears.

Thank you so much for putting the patterns and the instruction book on your website! I bought the option with the patterns. Super easy to understand and use. My 8 year old daughter based her Halloween costume (a wolf) on this video. I was able to size all the patterns down to fit a 3rd grader who's 4'4" (132 cm).

I just bought your cosplay Ears & Tails book and it's awesome! Clear step by step instructions, with great example pix. Love it! Can't wait to get started! Update 11/8/21 My ears and tail were a HUGE success! Made them for a Halloween party and they were the talk of the party! Pretty easy to make! The only step that was somewhat of a challenge, was trimming the fur after the ear was built. And even then it wasn't that hard. Just go slow and starts with a medium guard for the trimmer. Anyway! Fantaskic tutorial! SO glad I baught the book and patterns. I want to make another set in a different color theme!

I'm new to cosplays. I actually finnished my first one last week and i could not find anyone more helpfull than is Kinpatsu cosplay. Seriously, they are the best. Really easy tutorials even for us beginers. I subscribed right after the first video i watched.

Fabulous tutorial! This tutorial was so well done and the ears look amazing!

I watched a couple other tutorials that were all so complicated, but this one was a lot simpler and easy to understand! Hoping to get the book and make an alterante version of the rabbit ears for my Tighnari cosplay!

I definitely recommend sewing instead of glueing everything though. It looks so ugly with glue :/

It's important to always wear a mask when working with fur, especially when shaving it! You can get a fursuiters lung if you don't protect your airways from the fine fibers and hairs

Notes for people making this: if you bend the wire TOO much, it will snap. Happened to me when I put it on the headband. Additionally, the rings you linked to are really hard to pull apart and look kinda big ;-; Putting them on the ears now though, hopefully it looks okay (once I can figure out how to open them)!

it depends on the type of wire you got. different types of wire are harder or softer. some break with more bending than others

I was watching youtube on full screen and when this popped up I thought it was an ad because it looks so professional and amazing! These look so cute! This is perfect for me because sewing takes forever, and I'm not the best at it either. I already have hot glue and this looks so fun to make. Thank you for sharing this.

As I’m following these instructions, they’ve worked really well until about 4:18 where I realized my wires were poking out of the wrong side. My wires are poking out of the side instead of the bottom which is a little irritating now that I’ve come so far in this process. I still plan to keep the ears and to just cut the wire off and push it into the bottom but I just wanted to bring this to attention in case anyone had that issue as I did. Do make sure your wires are coming out of the bade of your ears when crafting haha😅

This is sooo good, straight forward and very clear.

This is so informative and I love how it shows how to do it step by step (like in sewing/craft books but better haha) while you verbally explain the process... I know it probably sounds strange me saying this, as you'd expect these things to be a given in a tutorial, but surprisingly there's a lot of craft videos where they don't even tell you the basics; instead expecting you to just know how things are done... they film themselves crafting but fail to explain how to do each step, or even what materials they are using, what tools used in the process, the names of products, etc. For example, they'll use some kind of liquid, mix it with something else (making resin) then add colours, shimmer, etc yet the don't tell you the quantity, what products they're using, and so on, so you just have to guess... like "oh that must be resin they're making," and "that shimmer stuff might be a food grade edible sparkle dust made for decorating cakes!" 😅 Anyways, I wanted to say thank you, great tutorial, and the ears look amazing! I've been looking on Etsy for ear and tail sets of a similar quality and appearance to the ones you make, and while I have found some I really like, it's so hard to make a decision on what colours to choose, whether I want them customized with detailing like piercings, bows, etc BUT they are so expensive... over $100 at minimum. So I'm very tempted to make my own; that way I can pick the colours I like, the aesthetic, detailing, etc love that you have an ebook that goes over different ear types and tails! Definitely going on my list of things to buy for craft projects! Currently my list of projects that I have yet to start consists of satin pillowcases (why pay hundreds for silk/satin pillowcases when you can make your own?), underwear, a plaid pleated skirt, chair reupholstery, mermaid tail, plushie (for my friend), and now this haha 😂
