for those who have problem to find the merge shape button, try press and hold the Ctrl key as you select the triangles. that works for me

For the shapes I took normal triangles 👍

Hi, if you merge them they will act as one shape, that you could give one fill. If you group they will remain individual shapes 👍

Hi, is the option greyed out, or simply not there? If it is greyed out that means you need to select multiple shapes (e.g. the big rectangle + your newly merged shape)

I noticed the free web version doesn’t have the format shape option. Are you working in the desktop app? Then it should appear as soon as you select objects. Alternatively you can also “right click” and “format object”

When I clicked on merge shapes an then union the first 2 triangles deleted. Why?
