    Great video. I would love more content on how to properly store prepared fruits and vegetables to have them last for the week or at least more than a couple days. Perhaps which types of vegetables should be eaten first after prep and which can chill a little longer. Please keep the videos coming.

    Thank you so much for the feedback, Malia! I do have a few so far: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4GhmI-QkbfXj6Q.html but I love the idea to also add that info to these preps. How long what we've prepped will last & what order to eat them in. Sounds great! 🤗🤗

    Really liked this video. I'm the same way. Found out I have ADHD Last year at the age of 46 and realized quick, easy, and familiar are really important to me. Nothing worse than being hungry, making a new recipe, and it turns out it sucks. Lol for the last couple years my husband's been doing the majority of the cooking even though he's not vegan but I realize I want to eat more whole food plant-based rather than meat alternatives from the grocery store. So I've got to get back into my kitchen. Just found your channel today and all your recipes seem easy and familiar.

    Aww thanks Melissa! Glad it was helpful. 🤗🤗 I hope you find a lot of easy recipes on this channel. 🌱 That’s great your husband is such a help in the kitchen! Even if he’s not vegan I’m sure it’s nice to have someone help out. 😊 Please feel free to reach out if you ever need help with anything in particular!

    I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I do on occasion enjoy those foods. I also am on a low carb diet for health reasons, and veggies are a important part of that. Finding new ideas so I don't get burnt out is always a positive. So thnx. Btw, I was wondering if u could do some vidios with plant based vegan/vegetarian foods that are low carb/keto? I have a bit of trouble finding options for that when I want something meat free and lighter on my, stomach. I can find lots of options that atent low carb, but not a lot for low carb options. I'm not expecting this to become another pro keto/low carb channel or anything like that. In fact I'd hate if it did. But ur channel is one of many focused on better eating and nutrient dense food options. It's jist from a different angle from my own I'd like to learn a bit from if I can

    Thanks so much Melissandra! Very good to know. I actually don't know anything about low carb/ keto!! 🙈🙈 I don't even know which foods are allowed or not, but I'm glad you are enjoying the veggie options here. Have you checked out Mary's Test Kitchen? I noticed she has been doing vegan keto recipes lately (also due to health reasons), you may like her vids! kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpyG1sujf8qsnLw.html

    Ty for sharing. If you use organic lemons you can preserve the rest of the lemon 🍋 you don't use. You can add preserved lemon to recipes. It great pop and adds freshness. .

    How are you storing these so they don’t go bad How long do they last i fridge Don’t mushrooms turn color

  • @LetsEatPlants

    @LetsEatPlants

    2 ай бұрын

    Great questions! Check out a few more of my meal prep videos and you’ll see how I store produce. Even washed and chopped, most veggies last 5-7 days. 😊 I only notice mushrooms turning brown after about a week of being chopped, so I try to use them before then. Even if they do turn a bit brown they’re still ok to use, it’s usually just from oxidation and isn’t harmful. 😀

    Haha no worries! You can always do a modified prep like this with some of your other favorite things to eat. Definitely doesn't have to be all veggies! 😊
