I am a 53 year old and my mom started pressing my hair at an early age and permed my hair at age 10. I have been perming my hair ever since. I was told my hair was too thick to manage. I did not know what my natural hair looked like until Nov 2020 when my daughter who keeps her hair natural decided to give me the big chop. It was scary I almost cried but now I love it. Still learning to manage my hair type but it is such a relief to not have to perm my hair and enjoy my thick kinky curls. Sorry for the long story but wanted to share that I reached out to KZread and you were there with your amazing tips and tutorials. Keep on doing what you do.

So glad I finally found a naturalist who has the exact same hair type /tecture, hair situations as mine. Based on the things u say throughout your videos, our hair is pretty much identical. Now i can start embracing my own curly hair journey & leave the weaves behind. Im excited to use your video tutorials to help me get started. Thanks so much for sharing. Now i just got to find the right stylist to cut my hair. Wish me luck 🙏

Idk I this helps but for me to preserve my wash and goes what I found works the best is sectioning it with scrunchies. I do like 6 total and it last me like 7 days ish. As long as my bonnet don't fall off in the middle of the night. And If it's " flat" to me I just pick it out with the blowdyer attachment take 3 minutes

Ty for the videos How do keep you hair from drying out? My hair absorbs cream curl activator and gels. M hair absorbs the moisture one it dries. My dries very quickly and it is very thick.

Please use a different shampoo. HnS is the worst and it has formaldehydes in it. Use a clarifying moisturizing shampoo. Pretty please🙏🏾
