I am doing this one rn. So far it seems a very forgiving pattern. I haven't figure out how to purl stitch so I'm doing the normal stitch instead and it looks mostly the same to me

Wonderful, that's a great project idea! Have fun knitting it up!
This would be lovely as the top half of a jumper with similar sleeves and then do a nice thicker pattern lower down.

Great ideas, Lenora!
I literally just frogged a blanket I was making as I had made a couple of mistakes and was not feeling it. Felt a bit deflated and then remembered seeing this pattern. Gonna start a new blanket in this pattern today. So excited. Thank you for showing how to make it x

I'm working on a crop top
Hi I just bought the knit stitch book and I love it it is easy to follow one thing I have a pattern that is in stockinette st can I use the same pattern and use one of the stitches from your book hope you can help thank you Gloria
I'm trying to figure out how to make this pattern into a loose top that I could wear over tank tops. I guess I could knit up two rectangles and seam at the shoulders and sides; but what to do about sleeves? I'm thinking a kind of wider 3/4 length sleeve? I'm never just created a pattern out of my head, and have NEVER made any item of clothing, so totally out of my element here; but I have a vision of what I want. Just don't know how to make it happen. I follow patterns fairly well, so I'd call myself an hesitant adventurous beginner intermediate? 😅

I’m struggling with the same thing right now. It’s hard to wrap my head around it 😅
How would I do increases or decreases with this stitch? I want to make a yarn hammock but all the tutorials are for crochet instead of knitting
Can you please share where the "lace playlist" you mentioned is located? I looked at all the playlist on your page and they are categorized by row numbers not names. Thanks 😍
It really looks easy and I will try it, but do you think it's possible to make this holes bigger?
@chongyunmain
Жыл бұрын
i think you can make the holes bigger by using knitting needles that are bigger than needed for the yarn you're using
Would this also work on a super chunky blanket yarn? X

Only one way to truly find out... Use appropriately corresponding needles and test it out by making a Swatch! It's the best way to test your yarn against a pattern to see if you like it...
@studioknit

Yes, I agree... test it out! It will work out lovely with super chunky yarn, but I don't have exact pattern instructions.
i dont undertstand the row 3, when we get to last 3 stitches, do we yarn over for the first over two? or do we do it just like we started the row 3 without yarn over? im confused :(((

Not sure if you still need a reply but if you're knitting flat: k2tog, yo, knit the last stitch. If you're in the round, you might have made a mistake somewhere because it should all be even
