    This would be lovely as the top half of a jumper with similar sleeves and then do a nice thicker pattern lower down.

    I'm trying to figure out how to make this pattern into a loose top that I could wear over tank tops. I guess I could knit up two rectangles and seam at the shoulders and sides; but what to do about sleeves? I'm thinking a kind of wider 3/4 length sleeve? I'm never just created a pattern out of my head, and have NEVER made any item of clothing, so totally out of my element here; but I have a vision of what I want. Just don't know how to make it happen. I follow patterns fairly well, so I'd call myself an hesitant adventurous beginner intermediate? 😅

    It really looks easy and I will try it, but do you think it's possible to make this holes bigger?

  • @chongyunmain

    @chongyunmain

    i think you can make the holes bigger by using knitting needles that are bigger than needed for the yarn you're using

    Only one way to truly find out... Use appropriately corresponding needles and test it out by making a Swatch! It's the best way to test your yarn against a pattern to see if you like it...

  • @studioknit

    @studioknit

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes, I agree... test it out! It will work out lovely with super chunky yarn, but I don't have exact pattern instructions.

    i dont undertstand the row 3, when we get to last 3 stitches, do we yarn over for the first over two? or do we do it just like we started the row 3 without yarn over? im confused :(((

    Not sure if you still need a reply but if you're knitting flat: k2tog, yo, knit the last stitch. If you're in the round, you might have made a mistake somewhere because it should all be even
