Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Mech Constructor in the comments below! :)
I started with Unity a couple years ago and wanted to make a Mech Commander type game. I couldn't believe I could just download all these SlavaZ mech parts and just start into it. Within a couple months I had a working game. Wow, I was blown away. Its not easy, but its do-able.
The animations for the mechs are so cool

Totally agree - I really like the way the developer set them up
this will save me a lot of money in the future
How would you build some sort of mech configurator based on this? Build an UI with all the parts and just slap the part into the mech via a script?

- make a scriptable object for each component set - make an interface that allows you to switch the components - update the display (instantiate the selected component from each set) - add the instantiated components to the relevant 'holder' slot, and zero the transforms I did this recently for my tanx game, and it worked well. The original template did not come with a player configurator
Would it work with vr?
