First one I’ve seen without wire! Love it
Thank you for this!! Short & sweet with clear instructions. LOVE!
Loved this tutorial. Thank you for sharing. Its so cute and I love that you can use essential oil on the bead. 😍
So pretty, and very well explained. I only wish you'd said "millimetres" instead of "mm" all those times 😄

Absolutely adore your colour choices here. Thank you for the tutorial 🥰
You made it it so simple ❤ loved it😍✨
Thanks for this, you made it really simple! It would be really useful to know how much (in mm) of each cord was used for the final product so I know how many I can make from a roll. Planning to do this for a Skype craft session with friends!

Just do a 'practice', wrap your thick cord with the coloured cord, cut when you reach the end unwrap and measure

Hi! About how much cord did you use for each section?
great video thank you!
Love the tutorial! Curious how the hot glue would stand up to temperature shifts in vehicles though
Hi, this was so helpful and I can't wait to make one for myself! I was just about to buy some of the chunky 9mm cotton cord from your shop, but I'm not sure which color you used. Did you use the vienna or natural colored chunky cord in this video?
@Caitzeee

She said natural in the video! 💜
Lindo , amei.
This is lovely and you deliver a great tutorial - Thank you! I notice that you are one of the few that do not use wire to reinforce the pieces? Any reason?
Thank you for this helpful tutorial! As the link does not work anymore, could you say how thick cord you used? Inner part seems 9mm thick
Muy hermoso gracias
Thank you 🙏
Very good❤️❤️❤️
How would you attach this if you wanted to add this to a hoop? If you wanted to have it with the fringe and maybe different knots besides it?
Wow so easy
fantasticooooo!! ♥-♥
How much macrame cord do you think this would use? Trying to put a cost analysis together and I have no clue how to calculate it lol
For bigger rainbows do you recommend wrapping multiple strands of cotton cord with one color or purchasing chunkier rope? (i hope that makes sense)
@Theholmfamily
4 жыл бұрын
Yes that makes sense! You can do either! It’s easier to have the chunkier rope but if you do not have any then wrapping a lot of cords will work too:
Oh I sure do hope you are not ghosting in yourube you should come back and make more macrame your an inspiration and a huge help when teaching it

LOVE this !! It’s adorable 💕. Do you sell these by chance?
I made these and they are super cute! I did have issues with the hot glue showing, and I put a very small stripe down the middle. Is there another glue you would recommend that wouldn't look as messy? I am not a sewer so would need a glue option.

I turn mine over and glue along the back. It never shows up in the front that way!
Amei!😍
Can you use 3mm for the base or just 9mm?
Is that 9mm cord supposed to be twisted ? I’m trying to find it at micheals
Hi are the larger spools of 3mm spun tighter than the smaller spools?
What size is the thick cord and how much of it would I need to make this exact size rainbow? Thanks (:
Do you find the hot glue eventually comes apart? I feel I always have trouble when I hit glue things and it comes apart
Quick question about the glue does it leave any marks?
I enjoyed this video! Thank you so much for sharing it us! I was wondering, I have been trying to make a macrame clutch for a while now, and it would be cool if you made a tutorial just in time for summer:)? food for thought! thanks again!

So cute ! Love how simply you broke it down. Is there a difference between using macromae string vs yarn ?
@Theholmfamily

Yes big difference! Macramé string makes your product look more high-quality And Yarn makes it look cheaper
@blimpie334

@@abigailconlon3147 Agreed. Yarn has a fuzzy appearance. I guess it depends on what final look you’re going for. Both can turn out nice. 🙂

Is the colored string 3mm?
Thanks for sharing this cute tutorial! Any suggestions on an alternative to hot gluing each section of the rainbow together? I just felt like the hot glue caused mine to have a less ‘neat’ finish.

@@Its.savedie You don't have to be an expert to sew. Especially when it's at the back of a rainbow it doesn't have to be neat.
What type of hot glue do you use? Mine always shows alittle after it dries no matter how careful I am.
Would this work if I wanted to do a larger version for my daughters wall? Or would it be too floppy?

Michaels posted a tutorial on a larger size one. They use wire to keep it from flopping. :)

so is hot glue the only type of glue that works best for this?

Which cord did you use for the 3 mm (color) cord (like is it twisted?)

@@leighahennington6958 you can just put a knot in the yarn. With a needle you can put the end of the yarn in the rainbow. I'm not sure if I explained it correct. English is not my language.
