I wear a occidental leather tool belt at work all day. I wanna nice bridle leather sword frog. Matching occidental buckles. They make good hardware. Simple one piece buckle design. Loops on itself would be perfect to secure a scabbard

The reaction bit was a nice touch. I was thinking you should add that because there is most likely a lot of crossover from Shad's channel. I'm happy to see you thought of it yourself. Good job. I know when I used to make a thing I would get a bit of an endorphin rush, and feel good about the thing I had done for a good while. My day was always brighter when I made something with my own hands. Do you still get that even though you make a lot of stuff, or did you never really get it at all.

Beautiful job! If you wanna add an even more professional job to your leather work, get an edge beveler. Rounding the edges really gives the end product a professional feel. Then Burnishing is the next step up from that. I used to make knives and leather goods for a living, so that is my helpful tip for you.

@@TYRANTH_that's probably what Shad was referring to when he said the edge was to clean cut. I can go either way and this looks amazing at least in video.

It looks good and practical too! Have to agree the leather looks synthetic on camera as it is so uniformly coloured, especially when compared to the leather on your arm.

Incredible for 20 minutes! I’m still in the stage of cutting some straps even with a strap cutter is taking me 20 minutes… but I’m just barely starting out! I was wanting to make a frog and this is simple enough I feel like I can!

Nice work. I recently finished making a new scabbard for a sword I have that didn't come with one from the smith, and I was thinking about looking for a frog online, but after watching this and seeing how it's made (and quite easily) I think I'll just make my own along with the scabbard. Hell maybe I'll just make a full belt for it too, why not? Thanks for the inspiration.
