Some good methods. I may have to get Fred spline. Been using Bezier curve but it appears Fredo may have better options. Thoughts? I set up grass and grass proxy borders as an Assembly Maker 3 build, and it works wonderfully. Same for some semi randomized hen and chicks in xeriscape builds. You can set symbols with your species on a separate hidden layer that appears in a plan view, and extract a landscape plan from it as well.

Hi, thanks so much for introducing me to this tool! Now downloaded and practicing. I am having a problem drawing in the same plane.. each attempt goes down into the vertical space.. I'm wondering how you keep your shape on the one horizantal plane? I've tried working on the surface of a circle.. but, still each attempt with the bezier nerbs.. I am still dipping down below..

I got the plug in working but Im having trouble controlling the plane it draws on. The plane drops or rises from point to point.....hmm

Also, are your tutorials all Sketchup Free functions or are some Shop or Pro? If they aren't Free functions, how will I know? Thanks and keep rocking!

BTW, I am using Sketchup Free to model my own DIY landscaping ideas so a landscape specific tutorial playlist starting from easy to more difficult would be saweet. I'm currently stuck on how to draw an ellipse.

If I get you well...you want to upload your own models to the SketchUp ware house for other users to download. In your SketchUp window, navigate to the windows tab in the menu bar Select 3D warehouse. You need to have an internet connection to access the warehouse. In the ware house you would see the upload symbol, click'am... it will upload your current model to the warehouse..

Hello sir, I watced your tutorial on materialize software..it was a great help. Sir I want to ask that how can we combine 3 or more maps together.. Like height map,edge map, etc I am asking for the lumion rendering.. because it gives only the options for diffuse map and normal map.. I can't insert the metallic map or hight map to it. Please help

Justin, I'm running SKU 2020 Pro - latest update version, and installed both Fredospline and PathCopy. When I restarted Sketchup the following error message appears: "Some Fredo6 Plugins will not load." Then it lists current Sketchup Version numbers, then says "Fredospline: requires LibFredo6 version >=110". When I go to load/ install LibFredo6 under "sketchucation" web site the comments all say "Do not install it for Sketchup version >=2017"? So I am on hold doing this out of concern. I've had issues in the past where a Fredo Plug In caused Sketchup to crash upon start up every time and had to uninstall and have you help me to reset a few things. I can't afford to have that happen again due to my work load (I have screen shots of these errors if that helps?) Thanks.

There are 2 versions of LibFredo in the SketchUcation warehouse - one that is for versions newe than 2017, one for older versions. It sounds like you've selected the wrong one. You should see both on this page - sketchucation.com/pluginstore?listtype=1&author=0&category=0&search=lib+fredo&submit=%3F

I generally make them as short as I can to cover the material that needs to be covered...

lol, how SketchUp continues to remain SO far behind other 3D software is Staggering to me. 'Weld Edges' in the 2020 release!?? C4D, 3dsMax, Maya etc all had these basic function out of the box on day one 30 years ago!
