My mom knitted this scarf for me when I was little. Now I’m knitting for my little ones with her help.
This reminded me of my mother - sadly, now dead. She knitted a version of this type of scarf to keep her warm while playing outdoor bowls. It was so admired she ended up making every lady in the bowls club one. They became a sort of “badge” for the ladies section of the club for many years. Thank you for bringing back a very happy memory for me.

Schönes Halstuch nur wie kann ich vermeiden dass es So lange Maschen gibt bezw.Löcher beim abstricken der auf zwei Nadeln verteilte Maschen.. danke für jede Antwort auf deutsch!!!

Hi, I want to knit this with bulky (6) yarn. What adjustments would you make?

Repeat the pattern but stop making increases when width reaches 11.5 cm. I did not use super bulky yarn for this type of scarf
My yarn only can use 4mm needles. Should I knit more stitches at the beginning?

No. Just make more increases to reach the same width of the scarf
