Hi Jocelyn, I started watching your videos 5 years ago and then advanced to silversmithing. Recently, I reverted to wire wrapping and revisited your rosette tutorial. I modified it with a fuchsia bead link from a 2mm cup chain and rose gold colored copper wire. It turned out absolutely beautiful (the best I've ever made!)! ❤ I threaded a 26ga wire through the cup chain link and attached it to the ring shank before making the rosette so I could wrap the wire around the bead to ensure it was centered in the rosette. I don't know why I'd been using 1 wire wrapped twice around the mandrel to make one of these since your 2-wire method turned out so much better so I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your wonderful talent and skills. You are a treasure.❤Have a blessed day!😊
I am so grateful to you. Perfect beginner ring to practice accuracy and dexterity!
No need to be embarrassed! I love simple projects like this. A ring like this is a ring that can be worn every day.
Элегантная фантазия. ❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺👏👏👏
Thanks for a well explained simple tutorial! Your voice is great to listen to, and I appreciate your easy-going professionalism!
Beautiful!! You make it look so simple.
I know it was easy but well worth putting on the air… Nice job
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. YOU MADE THIS SO SMOOTHLY, IT WAS VERY AESTHETIC TO WATCH... INSTEAD OF THE USUAL, SUPER FRUSTRATING, EVEN TO WATCH VIDS.. WHEN IT COMES TO A SUPER BEGINNER LIKE MYSELF??? THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM OF A VID, ONCE FOUND. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT 🤗
This is a cute lil ring ❤
This tutorial was great! I made a bunch of variations with beads, and I'm really enjoying it! Please keep uploading more videos!! I clicked the button so I'll be notified when you do! I've learned so much from you, thank you!!

Thank you for sharing this fantastic tutorial! I know it seems simple to most but for a beginner this is much appreciated! Hugs
Ha, i did! Lovely tutorial, simple and elegant. Thank's.
I love your videos. You are really clear in your speech and you are easy to understand. You give good directions. I like watching you because you are much more structured when you make your jewelry than I am. Your ring looks much neater than mine. I like both styles. Thank you for this video.
Thank you for your great tutorials, I really appreciate how you show us step by step how to make these beautiful pieces, there really is no other tutorials like yours!!! Thanks again... Andrea

Looks so beautiful. Thank you.
I just love the way you teach wrapping wire! Please please do more tutorials, I waited 3 months for one! lol... :( :)
It’s absolutely beautiful
You are an excellent teacher!
Everyone loved the rosette swirl. I made one in gold, silver, and copper. I used 16g for the copper which I should have made it longer because of the gauge. Thank you for this wonderfully easy technique.
excellent tutorial...very clear...explained and demonstrated beautifully
Just wanted to say thank you very much for your time, it's very appreciated. Never feel stupid or foolish for teaching something so easy because for some of us... For some who is learning is not so easy. I took pictures of my first one I made with you and a second picture of the second one... I wish I knew how to post here. Thank you so much again.,

That's great, Dinah! So glad the video was helpful :)
Fantasia Elegance I'm rather embarrassed to say that I am really glad you made this video----- as easy as it may seem to you-----there are some of us out here who just might have to include our thumbs with this one! lol Silly? Yes. However I just started last Monday and I've made like 6 or 7 rings (they turned out pretty cool and neat and tidy too---HAPPY) and several other thingy's. So I'm having FUN. THANKS so much for your videos. Love this ROSETTE and I'm on way to making one shortly---thumbs not included!! Cheers from Leona ||~_~||

Miss you, Jocelyn. Hope you return soon. You're the best.
hi I am wondering if the flat pliers Mars the surface of the wire and if I need nylon pliers. also I am allergic to nickel so which wire should I use? thank you!!!
Where do you add the bead? In the center or right before you start wrapping around the band?
Hi, Like your vids, I wonder what wire you prefer to make jewleries, I hear often that you should stay away Artistic wire, I know sterling silver is the best choice if you don't want it to tarnish but yet more expensive, so what other wires to use that the tarnish will have a slow tarnishprocess? I wana sell my products, I want the wire to have it's shiny color even after working on it/hammering it and so on and nicklefree, any ideas? tx :)
How do you keep the wires from moving and getting all bentup? Do you solder your wires?
wonder if you could start with a round Stone then Cross the wires over curious if that variation will work granted I love what you showed

Do your chain nose plier scratch the wire?
@rubyroberts1
7 жыл бұрын
I used my fingers. They are small and strong. No scratching
It wasn't easy for me !Got lost on moving wires over.I think you must have turned the ring around with out saying ,as you did last wraps. .Us new by's get confused when steps aren't verbal ,but I finally got it after watching you turn ring around.Love your tutorials !This and the flowers have been hard for me!I keep trying !Carrol
What do you do with bits of scrap wire you cut off?
@FantasiaElegance
5 жыл бұрын
Great question! I store them in little baggies sorted for each type of wire. If I need a short piece for some project, I can look in there first. For the bits of precious metal too small to use, you can send them to a site like RioGrande to be melted back down and re-used. They will pay you per weight of metal returned. For stuff like copper, brass, or silver plated, if I think the waste piece is small enough I won't be able to use it, I'll just chuck it in the trash.

Hi, Hurrem! Thanks for watching! For this video, I used silver-plated wire (Artistic brand: amzn.to/2PQrZnX ) but I usually work with silver-filled or sterling silver (which I purchase from RioGrande.com) for items that I will be selling.
