    Hi Jocelyn, I started watching your videos 5 years ago and then advanced to silversmithing. Recently, I reverted to wire wrapping and revisited your rosette tutorial. I modified it with a fuchsia bead link from a 2mm cup chain and rose gold colored copper wire. It turned out absolutely beautiful (the best I've ever made!)! ❤ I threaded a 26ga wire through the cup chain link and attached it to the ring shank before making the rosette so I could wrap the wire around the bead to ensure it was centered in the rosette. I don't know why I'd been using 1 wire wrapped twice around the mandrel to make one of these since your 2-wire method turned out so much better so I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your wonderful talent and skills. You are a treasure.❤Have a blessed day!😊

    Hi, Like your vids, I wonder what wire you prefer to make jewleries, I hear often that you should stay away Artistic wire, I know sterling silver is the best choice if you don't want it to tarnish but yet more expensive, so what other wires to use that the tarnish will have a slow tarnishprocess? I wana sell my products, I want the wire to have it's shiny color even after working on it/hammering it and so on and nicklefree, any ideas? tx :)

    What do you do with bits of scrap wire you cut off?

  • @FantasiaElegance

    @FantasiaElegance

    5 жыл бұрын

    Great question! I store them in little baggies sorted for each type of wire. If I need a short piece for some project, I can look in there first. For the bits of precious metal too small to use, you can send them to a site like RioGrande to be melted back down and re-used. They will pay you per weight of metal returned. For stuff like copper, brass, or silver plated, if I think the waste piece is small enough I won't be able to use it, I'll just chuck it in the trash.
