Let us know in the comments if you've made padsicles, and if you have other ingredient ideas! Even if you have a C-section, sometimes the "area" down there can get swollen and irritated in general, and these padsicles can still help. These are also a great maternity DIY gift to make for a friend or loved one... seems unique, but trust me, they will be appreciated!

fortheloveBAG awwww love you!
Thanks for sharing going to need this for when my baby is born on January 5th on my husband birthday
Wow I wish I would have known about this!
I am 31 pregnant snail with my first baby boy well first baby ever and I am doing all my prep work but I will say you can use the actual aloe vera plant just make sure that there’s no greens or spikes and all that on her and if you don’t wanna use that JoJo oil because a lot of people are allergic to it I’ve been told by numerous numerous people to use lavender oil which is a natural pain reliever and also helps with inflammation plus smells soooooo good
She doesn’t look pregnant and then bam show it off! I learn something new.
Could probably work for periods to especially on hot days
21 weeks pregnant and I’m going to need these 💕😍
Wear depends with those for the leak once it defrosts
Am now about to make mine use some at the hospital they where nice.. but I will use just water and jojo oil.
how often should use this ? can we use fresh aloe vera from plant and how long we can store it in the fridge ?
My mom made some for me and they were so soothing!! Also, if anyone decides to use dermoplast....make sure it is the blue lid!!

Hazel Gloriana awww thank you!
All of the jojoba oil I’ve found are for hair and skin, is that the right one?
What type of witch hazel did you use ?
I'm going to be making these for after the delivery of my first! However I do think I'm going to use vitamin E oil in place of jojoba oil. I just use it for everything lol it's a go to when it comes to healing or soothing, so I figure it will work perfectly here!
Yes so happy you did this video. I heard about this a while back and was confused didn't understand how it worked. I wish I knew about this 2 yrs ago when my son was born since they cut me for delivery. This will be a must for next baby :) Where did you find the jojoba oil?

Am waiting for ur updates on pregnancy.. how many weeks are u now? M having short cervix 2cm at 34 weeks and fun negative daily I look for ur updates 😕
Can these be stored in a cooler bag?
What does jojoba oil help with?
So do you use them like a pad? Or d you use them with a regular pad?
what brand aloe vera are you using?
Can we use this in winters also?
I didn’t realize I bought alcohol free witch hazel with rose water. Do you think it will still be ok to use? :/
I saw something a while ago that said it would help before to help prevent tearing is that true?
I totally wish I had these with my youngest! She's 18 months and I feel like I'm still recovering..lol ok maybe an exaggeration but I stole a whole bunch of those icy pads from the hospital and I wore them for a good while after I was home. My nurse had me put one of those in my gauze undies and then two breast pad thingys, a big squirt of some numbing ointment and a spray of dermoplast and it's the only way I could survive.

Amanda I know what you mean!!! I'm still recovering too! Ha.
Any other oil? That can be used?
Do they stay malleable? Or do they get hard like a popsicle?
Any aloe vera is okay to use?
I like the prep and everything, but how much defrost are we talking? I can’t sit on a towel all the time. Would it soak through underwear and shorts?
Is the witch hazel a must? I've never seen alcohol free, just less alcohol. Can I use just aloe gel and coconut oil?
@PrettyinPinkMama1

LOVE this video! Thank you for making it. Question, I only come across alcohol free witch hazel as a toner. Will a "toner" work?
Can I use the gel from a real aloe plant instead?
@tylerredenbach3797

Melanie Plourde yes I also recommend if you don’t want to use the JoJo but oil because a lot of people are actually allergic to it you can use a lavender oil which is a natural pain reliever and relieves inflammation
I accidentally put the aloe Vera before the witch hazel will it still work??

Ruby Delgado hi Ruby! So happy you made these! Yes that'll work perfectly. I made a batch the same way you did, and I like them even more! Xo
So do you still need these even if you don’t tear ? (Pregnant now first pregnant kinda lost)
@Brittanywithaney

You can definitely still use them!! They're very helpful in dealing with inflammation and relieving pain.
Question? If they're frozen, wouldn't they be a bit uncomfortable for the down stairs area?
