I had trouble with one of my hearing aids. I followed your procedure. Using a cue tip with electric contact cleaner did the trick. Thank you🙏 My audiologist said it was toast and time for a new set🙄 Thank you.👍

Thank you for the video. I have a pair of Rexton Trax 42 hearing aids. I normally change the receivers myself. There is a pin that has to be extracted in order to remove the receiver. My pins are a bit damaged and have trouble holding the receivers in place. Do you know where I can find replacement pins? I think they are plastic. I have tried using a fine wire instead but it does not hold them in. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the reply,. You would want to talk to your hearing provider about the pins so you can provide them with the serial number of the devices and they can match the exact part with the manufacturer.

I own a Siemens pure m 5 and one of hearing aid make a scratch noises i dont know if i t can be reaper

It is possible and it depends on the sound that it is actually making as to what the issue is. See your hearing care provider and they can help you out!

Also, where can I get the tool to replace the receiver from a Siemens pure ce 0123 aid

You don't necessarily need a special tool, just a small push pin/tooth pick that can push the pin out next to the receiver and you can use your fingernail or that same tool to push it back in

You can typically purchase these from the provider who sold you the hearing aids. If not, there may be some online channels but I would stick to your provider who will be able to get you the correct part.

The receiver is $49, my provider charges me $250 to replace wtf

changed the batteries when the hearing aid told me. Now hearing aids blinking red while in the charger and do not work ? need help. can find nothing on the web about this condition

You may want to contact your hearing care provider to see if they can help. If you replaced the batteries they may be in backwards or not properly seated. Which hearing aids do you have?

There will be a number and strength indicator on most receivers like 3M, or 2S, something like that.

My Oticon siya 2 is buzzing on the left ear I tried all your tips and it’s not working

Hi @mewsbre5509, it sounds like your hearing aid has a microphone issue. You will want to see your hearing care provider and the device likely needs to be sent in for repair.
