Nice one, definitely helped me. Question though: when I get rewards from online tournaments, the screen gets stuck in the main screen and I have to restart the game to open rewards. Is that a glitch, do you have the same?

I was messing with the equipment affixes yesterday and it seems very buggy - and I can see it happening to you too. Before adding the affix, your 3i showed 229y. After adding it, ON the affix page it showed 235, but when you returned to the main page, it still shows 229. I've seen clubs change order on the list at right. I had to leave the equipment tab and come back to get it to show again. In fact, this equipment page is so flakey I just un-equipped everything and will wait for some patch to clean it up.

Love you videos, have a quick question, I’m doing the challenges in the PGA Coaching section. I am up to the “advanced shot making- par 3’s where it says Get 1 birdie, par or better all 3holes and Earn all advanced GIR’S. I have achieved the first two even though I parred two holes and birdied another. I got the star Next to the get one birdie or better and the Star next to thePar or better all 3 holes I don’t know what it doesn’t give me the star next to the Earn all advanced GIRSs even though I did it. Does the word “Advanced” mean I have to do something in particular? Thanks for any help you can give me!

I just picked the game back up and I know that specs are very important so my question is, would you recommend getting a good ball spec first and then go into certain clubs from there?

Just another note: I got the Matsuyama Iron spec. The difference is unreal. All of sudden you can hit decent iron shots. Without the specs the game is incredibly difficult

Any chance you can comment the stats on this spec? I'm looking at Jordan Speith's Iron Spec in the shop (63 power, 73 accuracy, 79 control and 80 recovery) but I'll wait for Matsuyama's if his is superior.

Matsuyama’s is better

Hitting distance is driving me nuts. 118 to the pin from the fairway with a 5mph tailwind. I use my 54 wedge which has a distance of 119. I stop my backswing about 1/4 short of max and the ball falls short of the green and 27yds short of the pin. I hit the same shot with full backswing and the ball Flys the green. Anyone have any advice?

Any chance of doing a ball position video? Seems to me when the ball is above your feet the ball wants to go right (in real life it would want to hook) Opposite for ball below your feet…unless I’m tripping

7:16 I think they patched that so you don’t have to do it one by one, you can equip it to all your irons. Pretty sure I was able to do that but not totally sure

I leveled up my approach to where it looks like I have the different shot types like power approach but they aren't available when I go to play...I don't understand how to get the new shot types

Skill points. If you have it high enough to get those shot types. Ignore the color on acreen,l because I noticed a glitch in it changing

I have unlocked the balances rare wood spec from winning the Korn Ferry Tour, but when I go into my wood specs to add it, it says I only have the common wood spec. Any idea?

Things like how to read that putting line for instance. This works differently than in other golf games…

Why don't you use skill points on recovery?

Has there been a patch yet, I'm still playing on the trial debating. Ik the trial probably won't get any patches. On the trial I can't change swing settings.

Anyone know why my rewards stopped? I played career mode and won the Fed Ex Cup and didn't get anymore rewards for winning it and now even when I complete the challenges and earn more stars I still get no more rewards! They were going great until I won the Fed Ex Cup. is that the end of the rewards for me? Wow, So bummed! Lol

Well, Nevermind guys. I did finally get all of my rewards a day later and for some reason they were delayed but I did just open up 13 reward packs for all I got accomplished! Loving the new game and having fun...And getting better! Lol. Good luck to all and keep after it, Well worth it! Cheers

I played that Augusta tournament like it was a dark souls boss haha those rewards were ridiculous.

So if I buy an iron spec will it apply to all the irons in my bag or do I need to buy a separate spec for each iron?

1 spec for all irons, but you will have to equip that 1 spec on each iron

PGA coaching challenge section on ps5 is not rewarding any challenges, first challenge is driving to the fairway.. not getting any stars when I achieve the goals.. is anyone else experiencing rewards not being registered? Can’t learn this game when the coaching isn’t working, frustrating

The better the rarity of the spec the better attributes to the spec making those clubs better

@midKnightYT I was just talking about the club themselves you unlock. They are color coded too. Like I have a ping driver and it's purple. I have a ea driver and it's green. And I have a hammer head and it's blue. So those colors mean nothing? Just cosmetic?

Mate I'm having this trouble aswell. I play the first 18 of a tournament and it won't let me go to round 2 in any. It just keeps making me play round one hole 18 everytime. So I have to withdraw to move on. Driving me insane

I wonder if your strategy has changed since EA changed the system from XP to this Pro Pass system. They messed with the existing XP system and go to what's essentially a "pay to play" model just like all their other games. Really EA $70 per copy for a buggy game isn't enough? Whoever would spend extra real-world money for these points just to get clothing items and effectively cheat at Pro Pass by "buying" another tier, has too much money or too few brain cells.

How do you earn skill points?

​@@blazinrounds230skill points upgrade your golfer and you get 2 skill points every time you level up through xp Xp is super easy. Play the free tournaments which reset every 12 hours. They are only 4 holes and give you 4000-4500 xp for 4 holes. Play the challenges and you get good xp for every 5-10 stars Ive only played 4 hours 30 mins of the 10 hour trial and I'm level 18 my golfer is rated 78 and still have numerous unused skill points
